This portion of our pregame show is being presented by Coast To Coast Turf and by Lamar Outdoor Advertising for Central Valley. They were 50 in the Greater Spokane League until they ran in to Mt. Spokane on Tuesday night. Mt. Spokane won that game a tight game, 48, 46, broke an eight game winning streak that Central Valley had and so now they are 5 and 1 in the GSL, 12 and 4 overall this season.

Their losses this year obviously to Mount Spokane, also to Gonzaga Prep, to Woodinville and to Sunnyside. So CV comes in at five and one in the GSL which is tied for second with Mount Spokane. But they are the number one for a team at this point in time. For the Ferris Saxons they have lost five out of their last seven games. They are 2 and 4 in the GSL, 7 and 9 overall on the season and this is a team that is a little Jekyll and Hyde.

Sometimes they struggle to score and other times they score very well. So I think that a lot will depend on what they can get going from their offense here in this ballgame. When they have scored 50 points in a game, they're six. Zero this year. But in games where they haven't scored 60 points, then they are one and nine at this point in time this year.

So that's a look at this Ferris team. We'll come back, tell you more about some of the star players from both of these teams. She's scored in double figures in six consecutive games for this Central Valley team. On the other end of things, Ferris has one of the better scorers in the league and Kayla Jones who is averaging better than 14 points per ballgame.

And no other double figure double figure scorers for Ferris but they get a number of players chipping in. Amelia Weavers is scoring almost seven a game. Brook Chisholm scoring nearly six a game. Abby Colton is around six points a game for this Ferris team. So those are a couple of the highlights for both of these teams as far as names to listen for here this evening.

Let's take a look first at the 3A 4A girls standings. Mead right now on top of the league at 6. And oh, and they are would be number one on the 3A side as well. CB would be number one on the 4A side with a 5 and 1 record. Mount Spokane tied with CB.

They would be a game behind me on the 3 3A level at 5. 1. Gonzaga Prep a game behind Central Valley at 4. 2 University and Lewis and Clark both at 3 and 3. Ferris tied with Ridgeline at 2 and 4.

This is an important game for Ferris. See if they can get a leg up on Ridgeline and maybe get into a point where they're tied with Lewis and Clark going into the Rubber Chicken game next week at the Arena. North Central. Cheney both 0 and 6 tonight in the GSL girls games. First Mount Spokane taking on Cheney.

Gonzaga Prep is hosting North Central. Meade is at Ridgeline tonight. And Lewis and Clark will visit U high on the 2A side of things. Just two league games this evening. Pullman is at East Valley and Shadow park is entertaining Rogers here this evening.

Tomorrow it's or next week at Spirit Week at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. On Monday, it's the Railroad Battle. I forget what they're calling it, but it's something along the rail way or something along those lines between Rogers and Cheney. Yeah, I'm not. I don't.

I can't remember what it was. I saw it today. I can't remember Local Express, something to that effect. And then on Tuesday, it's Chuck the Rubber Chicken. That'll be up for grabs as it will be Ferris and LC in the Battle of the South Hill.

Then on Wednesday, Groovy Shoes NC and Shadle. And on Thursday it's the it's the Battle of the Valley. Yep. What was that? The Stinky Stinky Stinky Stinker.

Stinky or stinky shoe or my socks right now after running up for you right now as far as that goes. So at any rate, that is all happening next week. We will have the rivalry games on Tuesday and Wednesday for you here on the radio, both boys and girls.
