Well, it's the first football doubleheader I think, here in this building. Correct. Because we had soccer football last Thursday. Correct. And double header tonight and a double header tomorrow night.

Yes. So now we're getting games coming fast and furious here at One Spokane Stadium. The nightcap tonight, Pullman versus Shadow Park. This is going to be a very interesting game. Yeah, absolutely.

You know, Shadow Park's got a couple of different ways they could beat you, but was really impressed with Kaden Hooper last week at quarterback. As a runner, you know he had no qualms sticking his nose in there and fought for extra yardage, had breakaway speed when he got loose. So really entertaining player. And Pullman likes to sling it around. Champ Hawocki at their receiver.

I think he's got 10 or 12 touchdowns already, so that that ought to Be an entertaining game. I think this one will be fun. It's my first chance to see Diesel Wilkinson in person this year and excited to watch him play tonight. All right, then tomorrow we've got some, some big games obviously here in this building. The big game also on the two A side of things is going to be Clarkston taking on Rodgers and that's going to be another game that may be an elimination game.

Yeah, absolutely. Both teams have one loss already. Neither have played West Valley, who is undefeated in the league thus far. So. So, yeah, that's going to be a tough one.

Obviously Rogers lost to Shadow park in overtime last week. Really, they really took it hard and I'll be interested to see how they bounce back. I will be across the county over there and Central Valley to watch Mount Spokane and Central Valley play. But I got to tell folks, if you're coming down here tomorrow night, leave early because the Chiefs play at 7pm there's an event in the podium tomorrow night and a doubleheader here. So this is going to be the first real big test for parking here at the new stadium.

That's going to be interesting to see because at this point we have no complaints about this building, but we haven't had a situation where you've got something going on across the street at the podium, across the street at the arena, another street at the arena, and then here with not just one high school game, but two. Right. And I talked to. I was at Chiefs practice today because I'm covering the Chiefs now too, and I know they're a little bit nervous about it as well. Their media person has been fielding calls from season ticket holders.

Where am I supposed to park? Where am I supposed to park? So it's going to be a challenge for everyone tomorrow night. Hopefully. Hopefully cooler heads prevail.

Everybody gets here early, everybody can get around and everybody can be patient with each other. If you're coming for the early game, it lessens it a little bit just because you're ahead of the other events. But if you're here for the nightcap game, which I think is the Rogers game tomorrow, right, Against Clarkston, or is that Rogers is the early game. That's the early game. Okay, so then if you're coming.

Oh, it's. Is it Ferris Mead or the L. C. yeah, it's L. C.

southridge. Yeah. So that'll be the game that'll be Right. If you're coming for the late game, just come for the early game. It's going to be a good football game and then stick around for the second game.

So high schools, Indians, Chiefs. Is there anything you're not doing at the paper these days? Yes. I don't do Gonzaga. I told my boss if he wants me on the Gonzaga beat, he's got to double my bang.

All right, well, yeah, you were doing a Idaho football game down in Moscow a couple of weeks ago. So you're, you're the guy that's doing every year they're there, they're riding that horse hard. Right. I take a random assignment every once in a while when I can squeeze it in. But I feel bad because tomorrow night is the second Chiefs home game and I've got to miss it for, for high school football.

But everybody kind of knows what's going on and I'm really, I really love the idea of covering the Chiefs. It's something I've always wanted to do. I'm looking forward to it. And as I told the Chiefs, I'll be there 100% of the time when I'm there. Very good.

But tonight is the night somebody can get healthy. You know, Adam Fisher, great story about him, Larry, as you mentioned, you know, coming back, he was a longtime official there or coach there for many, many years. Took five years off, had some family commitments and now he's back trying to rebuild East Valley's program. He's a heck of a coach. His father's a Hall of Famer at both South Kitsap from a coaching legend and also Eastern Washington as well.

Just a great coaching family, you know, that stretches across the state. So you're seeing East Valley try to rebuild and everything that they're rebuilding, you know, is around Diesel Wilkinson, who's the outstanding receiver, defensive back. He's going to go on and play college somewhere. He's got offers. So it'll be interesting to see how they game plan Diesel to try to incorporate him into the game.

And then on the other side, North Central is trying to find an identity. They're going to have to do it without their south one quarterback who was hurt last week against Clarkston. And you know, and so the Elliott brothers are going to have to kind of come to the rescue, see if they can step up and do some things. So there's a lot of plots, kind of a lot of storylines going on for this game even though these teams are, are Struggling a bit at the bottom of the standings. They're, they're trying to find their, their footing and they're looking for an identity.

We saw Trevelle Jones last week as we had North Central against Clarkston in our game of the week last week. And he was an impressive looking sophomore quarterback who could run and throw but unfortunately got banged up late in that game. Tommy Elliott was the starting quarterback last year. They've been able to concentrate him more on defense this year because of Jones development. So that's a, that's a tough thing for them here this evening to lose this young man.

Well, and Tommy Elliott so good on defense. I mean he was all over the field last week. I, I love the way he plays. He's a hard nosed kid. He sticks in there.

He'll figure out a way. He has a tendency to kind of one look and then run, you know, to take off and you know, that's what good athletes try to do. They try to make plays on their own. And I really thought that Jones did a nice job of incorporating the receivers, the running backs. He was patient, he bought time for a sophomore.

I thought he showed a lot of moxie. I was very impressed by him, Larry. And know that North Central the next couple of years are going to be in good hands with this young man. It's got to get a little bit bigger, a little stronger, work on those shoulders, you know, build up the joints. It'll help kind of the punishment that you take in the gsl.

Well, in East Valley also has a sophomore quarterback. Taron Fields is the guy 6ft 1, 172 pounds. He will be the person in charge at EV here this evening against North Central. First off, in girls soccer around the area, two A soccer happening tonight, East Valley is at Rogers, North Central is playing in the 3A side. We'll let you. Excuse me, they don't have any 3A soccer tonight, so let's just. I was trying to figure out where Rodgers was or where ANC was tonight.

So East Valley at Rodgers, Clarkston at Pullman, West Valley at shadl. On the 2A girls soccer side of things, slow pitch softball this evening. Ridgeline is at cv, East Valley is hosting, Rogers U High is at Gonzaga Prep, Cheney travels to Mead, Shadow park at home against Ferris and LC is at NC this evening 3A 4A volleyball tonight Mount Spokane is at Central Valley.

Cheney hosts Ridgeline, U High is at Gonzaga Prep, Ferris travels to Mead and NC hosts Lewis and Clark. On the two way volleyball side, Clarkston is at Pullman, East Valley visits Rogers and Shadow park will host West Valley. 2A GSL football tonight you have this game and then the nightcap at the Stubbleheader at One Spokane Stadium is Pullman at Shade, Pullman at Shadow Park. So here at One Spokane Stadium football tomorrow. On the two way side, Clarkston is taking on Rogers.

That's the five o' clock early game here at One Spokane Stadium. And then the non league game is West Valley hosting Riverside on the 3A 4A schedule. No real big games. The best game probably out at CV as Mount Spokane plays at Central Valley. Ridgeline is at Cheney.

Mead host Ferris. Gonzaga Prep visits U High and LC tomorrow night in the nightcap game. In the non conference game they take on Southridge. Our standings now presented by Eastern Washington University. Here are the two way football standings going into play this weekend.

West Valley on top with a football 30 record. Shadow park right behind them at 2 and 1, Clarkston at 2 and 1, Pullman and Rogers both at 1. 1, East Valley 0 and 2, North Central 0 3. So we were talking elimination games with Dave. You've got Schadl and Pullman tonight, Clarkston and Rogers tomorrow.

The losers of those games go to two losses. With West Valley being undefeated and playing out of conference this week, one would think two losses, it'll be very hard. You might still be able to continue 10 for a second place or a third place berth. But to get to that 2A championship, that's going to be a tough road to hoe. If you lose those ball games coming up this weekend on the 3A 4A side.

Mount Spokane, Gonzaga Prep both at 4. 0. They will meet October 20th at Union Stadium in Spokane. And so we'll see if they're both unbeaten at that time. Then there's quite a pack.

Ridgelines at 3 and 2, Central Valley, Mead U High, all 2 and 2. And Central Valley still has a path to a 4A championship. If they beat Gonzaga Prep and or excuse me, if they win out the rest of their games and Gonzaga Prep loses two, they would still have and I think Central Valley still has to play prep. Maybe next week, I can't remember. But at any rate, important games for CV then LC's at 2 and 3, Ferris at 1 and 4 and Cheney is at 0 and 5.

Great place to go hang out. We appreciate them. Downtown Spokane. All right, let's talk a little bit about North Central. Last week lost a tough one at Clarkson, 28 to nothing.

But they, they showed they had opportunity. They went for it a couple times inside the 20. They had a chance to punch the ball in, just couldn't get it done. They only average 11 points a game on offense, giving up 38 points a game on defense. Lost their starting quarterback, who's a sophomore, but it's a team that played hard and that's the thing that you look for, you know, in a, in a well coached team.

And head coach Aaron woods has North Central playing hard. So you're going to see Tommy Elliott come in. He's going to play both ways. They have a lot of guys that play both ways. Both teams are doing that.

So they're going to have to run the football effectively. They're going to have to try to find a passing game to keep, to keep East Valleys down. Defense, you know, on, you know, kind of on par. And then they're gonna have to try to win the battle up front. They're not real big on the offensive line, Larry.

Up front or on the defensive side, East Valley is a lot bigger, just like Clarkson last week was a lot bigger. So they have to use their quickness from that standpoint. Quick hitting runs, maybe quick hitting passes, you know, and then try to get them to double move, to jump around, see if you get a big play over the top. On the other side for East Valley, you got Diesel Wilkinson, and he's one of the best players in the state of Washington. A great athlete.

He's been starting since his freshman year in high school. I've got to do games when he was on the basketball court. He could jump above the rim. He's got unbelievable hops. He's just a great athlete.

And then they have other, you know, athletes that are coming in, but they have six players that are going both ways as well. So this is really going to be a battle of attrition between these two teams. East Valley is a little bit bigger and faster. North Central, Central is kind of gritty. You know, both teams have guys go both ways.

Survival. The fittest turnovers are going to come into play. Don't get penalized. That was something, that was a bugaboo last week for North Central and try to stay healthy as the season progresses. Could be an exciting game because you have two teams that want to win desperately looking for their first GSO win of the season.

And the quarterback is sophomore Taren Fields, who had two rushing touchdowns against West Valley last week. On defense for North Central, up front, they play out of the 4 3.

They will have Braden Windhorst and David Greenwood at the tackles. Windhorst, a senior, Greenwood, a junior. The ends are Jake Gallagher, a senior, and Logan Eiley, a junior. The linebackers, Casey Stephens and Mason Watt, a pair of sophomores, with Miguel Rodriguez, the junior. Then the corners are Taryn Fields, the quarterback, playing both ways as a sophomore.

He was honorable mentioned defensive back last year as a freshman in the two hesl honors. Titan Nesbitt, senior, is the other corner. The safeties are Hunter Anderson, a senior, and Diesel Wilkinson, also a senior, for North Central, coached by Aaron Woods. They have a lineup that looks like this. Up front, they will have Gabriel Peterson, a junior at center, Jacob Sanchez, a sophomore, and Cole Woods, a junior, are the guards.

Riley Heminger and Seth Bromley are the tackles. Heminger, a junior and Bromley is a senior. Their tight end is Zach Schleder. T is a junior. Their wide receiver, sophomore Nick Elliott, senior Matt Campbell and junior Vance Taylor.

The running back is senior Trey Workman and the quarterback will be senior Tommy Elliott. They also run out of the 4 3. Their defensive tackles are juniors Cole woods and Kevin Richardson. The ends, sophomore Dominic Vaughn and senior Seth Bromley. The linebackers.

Tommy Elliott, the senior, Jamison Ebaugh, senior. And we'll see who starts at the. Oh, no. Keegan. Shell Schnell will go at the other linebacker position.

Two sophomores start at safety. Nick Elliott, who was honorable mention all conferences, a freshman last year and Nick Floyd. Floyd, not a big guy at 5ft 7, 155 pounds. Alright, so next week we are going to be up at Union Stadium as we get to see the Mount Spokane Wildcats for the first time this year and they will be taking on the Cheney Blackhawks. So that is on paper a huge mismatch, but we'll see what happens when they actually gather on the field next next Thursday night. That'll be a 6:30 pregame show and a 7:00 clock kickoff for that ballgame next week. One thing I've learned in football is, you know, mismatch sometimes turned out to be great games.

I have to do is go this year. Look at what Eastern Washington did when they went into Fresno. They had won 10 or 11 straight games. Everybody thought Fresno is going to blow Eastern out. Eastern was the better team in the second half having lost that game in double overtime on a, on a pick when it looked like they were going to go down and win it.

So you know, you never know. Yeah, and that's the thing that makes sports unique is you go out and you got to play the game and we'll see if Cheney packs their bags and come out to Union State and compete a little bit. So 6:30 for our pregame show, 7:00 clock for a kickoff. That is next Thursday night from Union Stadium on the Arby's GSL game of the week. All right, a very dangerous customer, Diesel Wilkinson is going to be back deep to receive this kickoff.

Joining him back there is Titan Nesbit. And ready to kick off for Mount Spokane is Biru Tang and NC Short one player and a football. I think the ref has. He's holding it like a short one. Breadbasket.

And he's the quarterback and the middle linebacker so he's playing on the kickoff team too. That's Tommy Elliott. He's probably gonna break the wedge knowing Tommy. Yep, they're gonna bring Tommy out. That's a good move by the coach.

I'm not putting him on the, you know, the kill squad on the kickoff. If he's doing that. Frankie Jardine will come into the situation there for North Central. But the deep men are not very deep here in this situation. Wilkinson is on the near Side as we look at it, about the 21 yard line and Nesbitt on the far side also at the 21.

So they don't think there's going to be a deep kickoff from Tang. Here's the run forward. The kickoff brought you by. Papa Murphy's changed the way you pizza. This is a loose ball on the kick.

Who's got it? I think East Valley ended up getting it back. Wow, they just about lost that one. But Johnny on the spot there was Jack Hansen, a senior tight end. He was able to get on that because NC had a chance.

Well, I think what happened is I saw the ball pop out of the little scrum that they had with East Valley and I think the NC defender coming in to try to recover it actually kicked the ball back to one of the East Valley players who number 21 who ended up recovering that thing that looked like that was going to be a great opportunity for North Central. Just a little squib kick that hit one of the up men for NC for East Valley and at that point it was a free ball. So here is Fields the quarterback out of the shotgun formation, Wilkinson in motion and we're going to get a false start here. Center double snap, double clutch to, you know, on the snap there. And that's a no, no.

So that'll be five yards against East Valley. You know, that's by the way, Ken Mathia, who's the umpire, maybe the tallest umpire in the history of umpiring. He was a seven footer, played basketball down at Washington State and he's probably shrunk. He's our age now and he's getting smaller, but he still hovers above everybody else. So I guess that's good if you're looking down, if you're an official on things, isn't it?

I can't hurt. I wouldn't. I mean you're a tall drink of water, so you not nearly that tall. So first and 15 now for the Knights ball on the right hash. East Valley is moving from left to right or from north to south here at One Spokane Stadium.

Two receivers go to the right, one man wide to the left and they will run it on. First down, Nesbitt gets hit, breaks a tackle, gets out to about the 45 yard line and he is finally tackled. He got hit coming into the hole that time by Keegan Schnell. They just a couple of rams ran into each other and Schnell went down and Nesbitt did not. They want you to wrap up and that's why grabbing cloth Is the big thing.

Good contact by Schnell, but forgot to throw the arms around him and got another six yards, gain of eight on the play. Second and seven now for the Knights and they'll throw it. And a little slant to the receiver that's caught for a first down, breaks one tackle, cross to the 45 and gets down to about the 43. It's Hunter Anderson on the catch and he will get to the NC43 for a gain of 12 and a Damon Orthodontics. First down.

Nice tackle by Nick Floyd, the corner out there. He's not a big guy at 5 7, but did a good job of coming up from his safety position there to make that play. Good little slant. Nice job by the tight end to break a tackle. And good opening drive here so far by East Valley.

I said Hunter Anderson. I think it's Anderson. Hunter is his name. Well, that's what they've got. Anderson in the first name and Hunter in the last name.

I thought it might be flipped, but I'm going to say it's Anderson. Hunter. I mean, it could be either way. It could be Hunter, Anderson or Anderson. Those are good names.

Either way, you're not going to get trouble, I think, if you call it either way. Fortunately for East Valley, the right tackle and right guard got a little excited and left early. But the good news is they tried to kind of get back and get back in the set position, so nobody noticed, but they were already two yards downfield. So the second five yard penalty on the Knights brings up another first and 15 situation. They converted the last time they did this.

They have trips to the left, ball on the right hash. They throw it out quickly to Wilkinson. Over his head, off his hands. Incomplete diving tryout there. Trying to make an interception for North Central was Matthew Campbell, but he couldn't quite get there.

So now it's second downtime. Wilkerson, that ball's a little high and a little in front of him, but as soon as he looked back, he kind of got the sun right in his face. I mean, he came out of the darkness right into the sun. And I think he might have had a tough time trying to find that thing. I don't think it was a very good throw, but I think that's one normally he can catch.

So second and 15. Jack Hanson is split to the right side, trips to the left. Fields will throw. It's a screen and it's wide open. Nesbitt over the 45, cuts to his left, gets across the 40 short of a first down.

Good job. Rallying the football by North Central and they bring him down. Rylan Kyle helping to bring him down at the 38. Gain a 10 and I think you'll see, you'll see them go for it here. This is not first, third down.

It's fourth down, isn't it? No, it is third. Oh, okay, nevermind. Scratch that comment. So Titan Nesbitt gets 10 on the screen.

Third and five now for East Valley at the NC38. They'll run it. Nesbitt off the right side, gets hit, struggling, does not get much now. Breaks a tackle, gets to the 35 and is finally wrestled down at the 34. They were running him backward.

Tommy Elliott and others were running it backwards and he somehow spun away and ends up gaining four. It'll be fourth and one. Give Esai a lot of credit. They've been breaking tackles here in this drive to a nice job. And you know whether it's a tight end or the wide receiver that time, the running back, just an excellent job of making plays.

Yak yards have been huge so far in this drive for the Knights. Wilkinson splits to the right side. One man wide left. They've got two tight ends in the game. Fourth and a yard, East Valley at the NC 34.

They handed off Nesbitt off the left side. First down run, he crosses the 30 and gets put down at the 29. That'll be a gain of five and a first down. Nice job by the Seats Senior that time. Very well blocked on the left side.

The guard was able to clear out. Excellent seal block by the center on the inside. Getting the D tackle there and that was enough, you know, for, for Nesbitt to show some good speed, pick up that first down. Been a very good drive here to kick off the game. 920 to go here in the first quarter.

They give a four officially on the play down to the 30 yard line. Nesbitt now a wide receiver to the right and Diesel Wilkinson is in the backfield. And they will hand it to Diesel off the left side. Picking his way through, not much there. He's able to dive down to the 27 for a gain of about three yards.

Trying to see who jumped on his back at the end there for NC and they won't give me their number. Oh, there it is. It is Jacob Sanchez. Yeah, Sanchez again. These linebackers are going to be tested for North Central today.

I like this offensive line for East Valley. They're doing some good job up front. They've got. They're facing a four man front but they're clearing out space for both the backs to make sure they can get some gains. Wilkinson still the setback trips to the right and they will fake the swing out to him and Fields will run over the 25 down to the 20, has a first down as he crosses the 20 and gets to the 19 yard line.

That's a pickup of eight yards for Fields, the quarterback and another Damon Orthodontics. First down Tommy Elliott, quarterback slash punt returner slash wedge breaker slash linebacker that time came up and made the play. Had a great game last week. He was all over the field. He's going to be a busy little bee here tonight.

So first down and 10. East Valley in the red zone at the NC 19 motion coming from the right side, through the left and out of the gun. There'll be a design quarterback run to the left side. Fields inside the 10 to the 5 break into tackle, into the end zone. Touchdown for East Valley.

The sophomore quarterback Taren Fields breaking a tackle squirted through a nice hole off the left side of the line. A 19 yard rushing touchdown and with 8:06 remaining in the first quarter, East Valley is on top. Well that was a great run too. He broke a tackle about the seven yard line. Larry ran right through the safety, was able to keep the feet moving.

Finally pursuit got him, but not until he got into the end zone. This was really a drive of broken tackles for East Valley and missed tackles for North Central. Here's the point after try. It is up and it is good and that was booted through by Paul Vilhavin and we'll take a timeout. 8:06 remaining to play.

It'll be a touchback and NC will get the ball for their first time. Our STCU touchdown drive recap. Nine plays, 58 yards, took 354 off the clock and it was Taron Fields the quarterback with a 19 yard rushing touchdown. And East Valley has the early lead. And so here is Tommy Elliott trotting out at quarterback in for the injured Trevelle Jones. And he will have one receiver split to the right side. I think that's his brother Nick Elliott and two men go wide to the left. They have three men in the backfield, including Elliott, the quarterback. He takes the snap, hands it to Workman.

The Renault fakes it to Workman, keeps it himself off the right side, gets out over the 25 and is thrown forward to about the 26 yard line or thereabouts. Miguel Rodriguez brings him down, but a good first down run for Elliott. Nice tackle by Rodriguez, grabbing around the head. Looked like the clock stopped, you know, the, the clock in between plays stopped at 12, so that was interesting. But a good first down run that time by North Central.

Nice tackle by Rodriguez. Josiah Dunn, Elliott and Matthew Campbell all go to the right side, the short side of the field. They have one man wide to the left, the wide side here. Pistol formation on second and four at their own 26. Ball on the right hash.

Elliott takes a low snap, will run it himself off the left side and make something out of nothing. He's short of a first down at the 29. That was not a good snap. It was supposed to go to the Workman and it ended up Elliot just followed Workman into the hole. The nose tackle.

Brandon Windhorse was the guy in the tackle that time and you know he made something out of nothing. Larry, just a great job from that standpoint. One of the coaches over in the NC room is having fun playing patty cake on the table here a little loud. He's got to calm Down. He's not.

It's two plays and he's already, you know, done a, you know, a rumba. Everybody in tight except for one wide receiver. Split to the left side here on third down and a yard. Tommy Elliott the quarterback, Workman behind him in the backfield. Six people on the line, they'll hand it off.

Workman up the middle. He goes first down, burrowing in off left guard. He will cross the 30, get to the 32, gain of 3. Damon Orthodontics. First down by Workman.

Nice job. Good run that time, you know, again. And they're smart. They're using the run play, the running between the tackle, which is impressive. This does a couple things.

It keeps the East Valley offense on the sidelines. Larry continues to drive and eventually we'll wear out this, this front seven group because they're being real physical at the point of attack right now. Out of the pistol now, first and 10 for NC Ball at their own 32. We have six, 15 remaining here in the first quarter. Seven nothing, East Valley Elliott out of the pistol formation, bobbles the snap, swings it out.

Workman makes one man miss up the right side, numbers over the 35. Has somebody. He's carrying somebody for a biggie. That was Logan Ily. He just kind of gathered him and gave him about a four yard piggyback ride up to the 41 yard line.

That's a nine yard pickup. You're. You're used to rodeos back in the day from the Waitsburg days. And the guy comes out and jumps on the bowl and tries to twist their head and get it on the ground. That's exactly what that looked like.

Great job. That ball looked like it was going to be a three or four yard loss and turned into a nine yard run. Nice job. Second pass play. I'm sorry.

Yep. Second down and one, trips to the left, ball on the Right #mark. One man wide right. Elliott takes the snap, waist tie. Fakes the handoff, fumbles the ball, picks it up, doesn't pick it up.

Now there's a dive for it and East Valley's got it. Wow. So Elliott again, he played quarterback last year. Not a lot of quarterback in this year because of the emergence of Trevel Jones. So he's not used to ball handling in there.

He and Workman didn't have the situation straight on who was taking the handoff and who was keeping the ball. And it ends up on the ground. And East Valley recovers. Casey Stephens, the linebacker, number 32 on the fumble recovery. Great job by him.

Touchdown East Valley. Nick Elliott was too far behind as he was coming in. Didn't have a good angle on him and Nesbitt was able to outrun the corner there. 42 yards of the rushing touchdown for Titan Nesbitt and just like that, it's 13 nothing. East Valley Big play.

That was a biggie there and it was set up by the fumble recovery. And you're right, Larry, just a nice job and he just ran through. He showed some excellent speed there on that touchdown run on the left side. And really no chance for Tommy Elliott to catch him. Vilhavin for the pat.

So good strength by East Valley. North Central is going to have to, you know, figure out a way to get these guys on the ground. So first down and 10 out of the pistol. Ball in the center of the field, trips to the left, one man wide right. Elliot takes the snap, runs option.

Pitch it out now to Workman on the corner, gets to the 30 yard line and is run out of bounds there. Pretty good job by East Valley to string that play out. And among the guys over there making the tackle, they had two or three, it was Jack Hansen. Good job by that time by Elliott to make that read. The end came in, he pitched it to the outside.

Workman just needed a little bit more speed to get around that corner there. And as Larry mentioned, very good job of stringing that play out, using the sideline as an extra defender and finally knocking him down. Second down and 7, 80 right split to the right side. They have one man wide to the left. That's Elliott out of the pistol.

Nick Elliott, I should say. Tommy Elliott, the quarterback, out of the pistol. Seven players up on the line. Low snap, here comes the pressure and he gets it away. Incomplete.

Looking for Workman just about the time. He got hit that time from a blitzer off coming from the outside. Mason Watt, a sophomore linebacker, came in, hit him just as he was throwing the ball. Yeah, that was a QB hurry, big time and nearly had a sack on that one. That was just a nice job.

Well timed. Coming off the outside, he kind of delayed blitz, nobody there to block him. And poor Elliot got pummeled. Couldn't set his feet because he was getting knocked to the ground. So third and seven now for the wolf pack.

Ball at their own 30 yard line. Trips to the left, ball in the right hash. One man wide right. Tommy Elliott, the quarterback out of the pistol, takes the snap, fades back, has pressure coming. They try to screen it out and it's open for Workman up the right sidelines.

35, 40, first down and takes a big hit and goes out of bounds. I think it was Diesel Wilkinson that hit him, but not until he got to the 44 yard line at Damon Orthodontics. First down. Boy, that was a keister blaster on that one. Just a great job.

Excellent technique to come over by D. And he's a Big strong kid. And that was a nice throw. Almost look like a punt, but he was able to get it out there. He really drew the East Valley defensive line in.

It kind of sold that play and that was the difference for them. Picking up the first down on the screen. So 14 yards in the pickup to Workman and it's first and 10 now for the Wolfpack up at their own 44 on the right hash again. Three men in the backfield. They hand it to Workman off the left side.

Breaks a couple of tackles and struggles out close to to the midfield stripe. The officials will put him at the NC 49. That's a gain of five yards in. On the tackle was Mason Watt. He was slippery.

He does a nice job of getting kind of in and out of that, that play and just doing an excellent job of kind of making things happen here. So good job. I like, I like that. The attack right now that North Central is using between the tackles, you know, they're not, they're not as big as East Valley, but they're quick and they're moving them off the ball. Creating some lanes for the the running backs.

Two wide receivers split to either side here on second and five. Ball in the center of the field at their own 49 here for the Wolfpack motion coming from Campbell left to right through the formation. And Elliott wants to throw. Pump fake now he'll run into the middle of the field. First down cuts to his left 45.

40 down inside the 35. And is finally wrestled off his feet by Anderson Hunter as he gets down to the 33 yard line. That's an 18 yard pickup. Good job. Safety has to come over Hunter Anderson.

Anderson. Hunter. Basically to make that tackle save the touchdown. If he doesn't do that, North Central standing in the end zone. Good job on that pass rush.

Kind of blew by, you know, Elliott there and he just saw a seam right up the middle. Made a linebacker missed. Very nice run by him. Okay, so now we do understand it is Hunter Anderson. So I am.

I was right the first time around. Not Anderson Hunter. It is Hunter Anderson. So just say it was dyslexia. Well, no, it's.

It's in here with the first name Anderson and the last name Hunter, but it is Hunter Anderson. They just reversed it there in the roster. So first down from the 33 of East Valley, they hand it to Workman. We have liked Workman's running last year when we saw EMC and in the first game we saw them this year, but he had no place to run that time as he was enveloped and brought down right at about the line of scrimmage by Braden Windhorse.

Still got positive yards there, you know, picked up maybe a yard, yard and a half there. But this has been an excellent drive. You're down to 230 here in the first quarter and this is what North Central wants to do. They want to shorten the game, utilize, keep that East Valley offense on the sidelines. You've seen them have explosive plays running the ball.

This has been an excellent drive right now for North Central. 215 to play. First quarter, 14 nothing, East Valley, second and nine for the Wolfpack at the East Valley. 30. Two trips right, one man wide left.

Tommy Elliott will run to the right side. Got a block from Workman, got to the corner, throws to the outside and it's dropped. Nick Elliot had it on the sidelines, but he was worried about keeping a foot in bounds. And I think he looked at his feet and then looked at the ball and he couldn't make the catch. That's exactly what he did.

Nice job that time. Good half. Roll out to the right side. Nice blocking by the lead block to seal the end so that Elliott could get that ball up over the top of the corner and right in the. In the back there.

It's too bad he wasn't rewarded with the catch. And nobody feels worse than the young man out there that didn't catch it. Just a sophomore. It takes time to learn how to, you know, watch the ball and know where your feet are at the same point in time it does. Trips to the right, one man wide left.

Third down and nine. Tommy Elliott with a blitz coming, fades back, runs out to the left side, throws to the sidelines, has a comeback catch inside the 25 and being wrestled out of bounds is the receiver. We'll see where they put the ball. Looks like the 23 yard line. And that was the tight end Schletter, who hauled that in for a gain of 9 yards.

Nice job. Little 10 yard out, came back for the football. Saw his quarterback in trouble. He looped to the left, so they're going to give him a first down on that. So that was a 10 yard gain.

Nice job by him. And this time he caught the football. He wasn't the one that dropped it last time, but another nice throw. Good job by Elliott to get over there. He had somebody in his face.

The big DN was kind of jumping up there. That's tough when you're a quarterback and you can't see the receiver. You're Throwing it to a spot. So first down and 10 as they just got to the line to gain there the 23rd three yard line and I think NC wants a timeout here. They had some miscommunication and so they will take a timeout here with a minute 55 remaining to play in the first quarter and East Valley on top of the score of 14 to nothing.

But we saw a few drives like this for them last week against Clarkston where they had good drives but they just bogged down once they got in opposition territory. So they need to complete this drive. Well, they had penalties. Penalties were really the. It wasn't necessarily the other team stopping them, it was them stopping them.

So they've got to stay away from the penalties here. They're able to mix up, they're running the ball effectively, they're doing a nice job between the tackles and then when opportunity presents itself to throw, they're starting to make some catches. So this offense is getting a little bit of a rhythm. Remember, you're dealing with a new quarterback this week because the previous QB, Mr. Jones, the sophomore, was injured.

And you've had a whole week for this quarterback to kind of work together with this team. So first down and 10. NC ball on the left hash at the night 30, 23 yard line. Two receivers go to the left side, right side, one man wide to the left that schlatter the tight end out of the pistol formation. There's the snap back, Tommy Elliott wants to throw, swings it out.

Workman at the 30, cuts to his left, breaks the tackle over the 25, breaks another tackle, spins to his right, gets down inside the 20, maybe to the 19 yard line. Nope, they'll put him right at the 20. Workman with a good hard run, gains three. Boy, that was a nice job too. And he's just there breaking tackles.

Great effort. Both of these teams are showing really good effort out here tonight. You love seeing that a minute 30 to go here in the first quarter. Best drive of the night for North Central. But they're down two touchdowns.

This is kind of a must score situation for the Wildcat or the Wolf Pack. They've got to get that football in the end zone. Keegan Schnell checks into the game. He'll be a tight, actually a wing back set to the left here. He's going to be positioned between the left guard and the left tackle behind them in the backfield out of the pistol formation.

Elliott hands it to Workman off that left side, has a seam running laterally, gets to the outside inside the 15 to the 10. And he may have been horse collar down, but no flag as he gets inside the 10 to the six yard line. But Trey Workman with another nice run. That's a pick up a 14 and it's first and goal. That was Nesbitt, who also plays a quarterback or a running back on the other side that had to reach over there and finally knock him down.

Great stretch play that time. You got first and goal. Neely was able to get in the end zone and just a nice run. He kind of bounced it from the center left tackle all the way out to the left side and showed good speed. Nick Elliott, an offset fullback to the right of his brother, the quarterback, Tommy Elliott.

Workman, the running back behind first and goal, ball on the left hash at the six. Everybody in tight except for one wide receiver out to the left side. Tommy Elliott hands it to Workman off the right side, burrows in, crosses the five. He's down to the four, maybe the three. Gain of two, maybe three yards on the play there.

The last man off the pile for East Valley is Jake Gallagher. It'll be second and goal. I like that. They're running the football, they're effective. It gets tighter down here because everybody's condensed.

You're playing a goal line defense means you're basically building a wall on the defensive line. You're kind of cutting, you know, the offensive lineman's legs out from under them, allowing your linebackers to scrape. So this would not be a bad play for a little play action pass here on second down. This is the 12th play of the drive. Nick Elliott, the fullback, set to the left now with Workman behind the quarterback, Tommy Elliott in the pistol formation.

Second and goal from the three. They fake the handoff ball on the ground again. Who's got this? East Valley says they do. Who do?

The officials say East Valley. Wow, another mishandled play. And coming out of there with it. For East Valley, I believe. I think it's 55.

Yeah. It was Miguel Rodriguez. Yep. Wow. And that was the same play that they fumbled on.

Then the one play touchdown drive where you're doing the tailback. It's kind of an option play. We put it in his belly and pull it out and it's up to the tailback to kind of receive that ball. And it looks like that timing has not been good because the ball has fallen out of the, you know, the hands of the running back and I think the quarterback is trying to keep that and so he basically pulls it out and the ball ends up on the ground.

Brutal turnover for North Central. A 5 minute 8 second 12 play drive gets nada for NC Eva. East Valley gets it at their own 7 yard line and they'll run it and not much there for the quarterback fields as he gets stopped short of the 10. That'll be a gain of only about a yard. That's kind of what we saw last week in that 28 to nothing loss to Clarkson.

They, they were right there a couple times, you know, with opportunities to punch the football in the end zone. Just couldn't get it done. Our first quarter presented by the NECA and IBEW. And North Central gets the first turnover of the game from East Valley and they get it in good field position at the night 33. Great read that time by the safety corner. They were playing a cover 2, which means the corners rolled up, but he jammed the the receiver.

He went outside, safety's playing over the top of it. Read the ball high, pointed it, went up and got that thing and intercepted it. That was a beautiful read by that young man. And Elliott has always been a guy that has been a guy that could comes to play and love the way he went up and made that interception. Now it's time for North Central's offense to put the football in the end zone.

11:53 left, first half. NC with the ball at the night 30. Three trips to the right, ball on the left hash. One man wide left. Tommy Elliott will throw on first down.

Steps up in the pocket now, runs to the left side, has a big seam. 3025 still on his feet. Down for a first down. Down to the 21 yard line. Rodriguez brings him down, but again it takes 12 and a Damon.

They've got to contain him. They're going to probably have to set up some kind of spy where you have a linebacker or a defensive back, one of those guys watching him because he's hurt them running the football. He lets everybody clear out of there. He sees what the pass rush is doing. He just stepped to his left that time and got it right around the corner.

Beautiful first down run. So first and ten for the Wolf Pack now at the night 21. Four wide receivers, two to either side. Tommy Elliott out of the pistol, Workman behind him. Five men up on the line now six inch onto the line for East Valley.

Showing a blitz and they'll pitch it to the receiver coming in and there's nowhere to go there. They had that pretty well scouted that time. Matthew Campbell on the little pop pass there, loses a yard back to the 23. That was one of. There was more guys in white with green helmets than there were in, you know, dark jerseys with dark Helmets up there.

And they were basically just kind of overwhelmed that offensive line because they had more guys attacking because they blitzed everybody. So tough play when you're trying to run an option or trying to run a reverse like that back to the field into the blitz. So second and 11 now for the Wolfpack. They will have Wright and Elliott both split to the right here. They also have a wing set to the right and the tight end set to the left.

Out of the pistol, Tommy Elliott runs option to the left side, then pitches it forward to Nick Elliott. Breaks a tackle, gets inside the 20. A little shuttle pass down to the 18 yard line. A gain of five on that play. On a forward pass.

Well, that was interesting because they also had the option to pitch it back or Elliott could have kept it. So you had. I thought the outside was open better than the inside was, but he did the, you know, the shuttle passed it back into the inside towards the line of scrimmage instead of away towards the, the, the back behind him.

So kind of an interesting play call to try to keep that defensive line honest. A big third and seven coming though. Call it a four yard pickup rather than a five on that last play. Third and seven for NC at the East Valley 18. This is four down territory though.

Trips right ball in the left hash. One man wide left back to throw it as Elliott fires it out on the right side. Has a catch at the 15. Down the sidelines to the 10. Breaking a tackle, getting near the eight yard line.

That is Campbell. Put him at the nine. It's a Damon Orthodontics. First down, first and goal for the Wolfpack. Third tackle by Diesel Wilkinson over there.

Had to come over from a safety spot. Good job. Just a tight end release. He was open. The linebacker did not pick him up because he was blitzing.

Good job by the offensive line to buy the quarterback Elliott some time so he could flip that ball out to the flat. Tommy Elliott. Unofficially, seven out of nine. 47 yards passing so far in this game. Good percentage.

Now first and goal from the nine yard line on the right hash. They fake it to Workman. Running to the right is Elliott and he gets hit. Good tackle right at the line of scrimmage. That was a beautiful form.

Tackle by Diesel Wilkinson right at the line of scrimmage. No gain on the play. He's the leading tackler right now. He has four of them and a couple of them have been bone crunchers and you can see why. He's got offers to Big sky schools and other places.

He's going to be a very good college football player if he continues to get bigger, faster and stronger. No gain on the play for Tommy Elliott. Second down and goal now from the nine. They have three receivers split to the left here they have one man wide to the right again out of the Pistol. NCR East Valley showing a blitz back to throw it as Elliott fires it out.

Diving fry just a little short. Incomplete in the front right corner of the end zone. Looking I think for Schledert that time, just a little under thrown. Tommy Elliott's going to go back and film and if he watches this film, footwork wise, he just tried to flip that ball out instead of planting that back foot and throwing the football. If he does that, that's a touchdown.

Those little mechanics, those little things really make a difference, you know, especially in the high school level. Larry, you see it at the college level. You look at how these guys, you know, really advance their mechanics. He'll learn from that. 845 remaining.

First half, 14 nothing. East Valley third and goal. North Central at the East Valley nine. Two receivers to either side. Tommy Elliott the quarterback out of the pistol, takes the snap, fades back, throws right side back corner the end zone.

Schletter couldn't quite get it incomplete. He had Diesel Wilkinson on him. And it's going to be fourth down. They wanted a pass interference. None called.

Good hand fighting between the two. Is it sledder to Campbell? I'm not sure it was Campbell that time on the intended receiver. Yeah, that's, you know, I'm not good. That's not a pass interference.

You know, every. If it's incomplete, that's the easiest thing to go to is, hey, he was pushed. They were both pushing. They were both pushing and shoving. Wide receiver had a chance to make the plays, got to make the catch.

So now a field goal try for Bi Ru Tang. This is a 26 yard attempt with the angle back to the left for the right footed kicker. They scrimmage from the right side so it's on the right hash mark here. There's the snap back, the ball is spotted, the kick is blocked and it's fallen on by East Valley in the center of the field. So the blocked field goal.

And again East Valley stiffens when North Central gets it in the red zone. And the Knights will take over at the 12 yard line. That waste a great interception by Nick Elliott that set up the field position for this NC NC offense. And they kind of sputter when they get into the red zone. And they had some plays, they had Two guys, you know, if the ball would have been thrown a little bit more accurately on the first pass, you have a touchdown.

If the receiver could just figure out a way to keep his feet a little bit, have a chance to make that catch on the second one. Both of those should have been, could have been touchdowns. 835 remaining to play here. First half 14 nothing for East Valley. They have it at the 12 because the kick was blocked and not missed.

They have to take over where the the ball is here. They give it on a fly sweep. Wilkinson running outside on the left right side is able to get over the 15 yard line and he is pushed down by Trey. No, it's Josiah Dunn who pushes him out of bounds up at the 18, gain of 6. Now the receiver over in that far side just stood there and watched Diesel run.

I think that was Allah Jackson over there. Jackson aala. Anyway, they're going to show that on film and he's probably going to get chewed. He didn't go after anybody to block. Second down and four for a two wide receiver split to the left side.

One man wide right. They handed off Nesbitt off right guard, is stopped as he hits the 20 yard line. So a short gain, only about 2 yards. Good job by the NC defense. In on that tackle was a young man we do not have on the roster, number 70 and so we can't tell you who he is.

And it's third down and short. Well, this is a big series. If North Central can stop them and get a punt this is two consecutive series. They've done a great job of stepping up and giving the the North Central Wolfpack offense a chance. Third down and two ball on the right, hash motion coming from the left side and a flag comes in for I think a false start.

Big penalty there because instead of third and two, it's now third and seven. Probably have to change your call. Probably gonna run the football in the third and two now. Maybe a little play action, you know, maybe try to run, try to get to the outside. But I think they're gonna have to throw the football here.

Wilkinson in the slot to the right side. He's got a man outside as the receiver there. Two men wide to the left on third and seven fields. The quarterback out of the shotgun, accepts a low snap around his Knees, moves to the left, now runs. He's over the 15 to the 20, has a seam, cuts to his right across the 25 and is just knifed down as he gets to the 27 yard line.

But he gets 10 yards and converts the first down. That was just a great job. Heads up play. Good pressure I thought by North Central, but he was able to find a seam. And both quarterbacks have been able to kind of tear up the defense on pass.

You know, plays where they see everybody covered, they just pull the ball down and run. Gain of 12 actually on the play. Up to the 27. First down and 10. East Valley all on the right.

Hash trips left one man wide right out of the shotgun formation. Fields takes the snap, looks out, quickly finds Wilkinson, makes a man miss, crosses the 30, dances over the 35, cuts outside at the 40. Flags are down, over the 45 to the 50. Step arms him in and here will win the foot race down the middle of the field. But it's all coming back due to an East Valley penalty.

I think it's a face mask on North Central. Look like somebody grabbed at the mask. There was one that they threw downfield. I thought it might have been a face mask, but there's one closer to the line of scrimmage too. So let's see what this is as the officials are getting some communication here and players are starting to come back to this end of the field.

Let's see. Illegal use of the hands on East Valley. Oops. So a long touchdown to Diesel Wilkinson, which was a spectacular run. A 73 yard play.

All comes back due to the fourth night penalty in this game. And that's anyway, that's too bad because that was a brilliant run. I mean he made a couple of moves, he cut inside, he used a stiff arm, was able to outrun guys, broke a tackle, did everything you could ask an individual to to do that. Then unfortunately, illegal hands. I wonder if it was hands to the face or something along those lines.

If it was, then that's just a five yard penalty. If not, it's the biggie. Half the distance. Well, it's a 10 yard penalty from the 27 back to the 17. There you go.

Okay, well, I saw a face mask in there on Diesel, but he fought through it and was strong enough to make that, that long touchdown run. Beautiful run by him, by the way. 655 remaining, first half, 14 nothing. East Valley over North Central. Two wide receivers to either side here.

Running back Nesbitt aligned to the right of the quarterback Fields now Motion from Wilkinson right to left through the formation. He will become the outside receiver now on the left side. Will Wilkinson out of the numbers and Fields wants to throw. He'll swing it out to nesbitt. Over the 15 to the 20, up the right sidelines.

Crosses the 20 and is spilled short of the 25 over there. That's going to be a gain of about 6 yards on first down. It's trying to get some positive yards, make it a little bit more manageable on second and third down. Good heads up play. Kind of thrown to the tight side of the field.

You've got three receivers stretching the defense to the wide side, hoping that you're going to get a little one on one matchup over here. Good, good little play. Call that time by East Valley. 2nd and 14. Nesbitt to the left of the quarterback.

Fields trips to the left. One man wide right ball on the right hash. Fields to throw. Looks down the middle now fires deep down the right side. Has a man open and it's incomplete.

In and out of the hands of the intended receiver who was wide open down there. And I think that was Hunter Anderson again. Boy, hit him right in the hands, Larry. And that sometimes when you're that open, that's a hard catch to make. That was a beautiful throw.

Let's give credit to Fields. He put that right in his hands. Striding down the field. Field about 35, 40 yards downfield. Couldn't ask, you know, for a better throw from your quarterback.

So an incomplete pass there and it's now third and 14 for East Valley at their own 23, 6:15 remaining to play here in the first half. Trips to the left, ball on the right hash. One man wide to the right from the shotgun back to throw it as the quarterback. Fields has time now under pressure, runs to the left, gets away, heaves it down the sidelines. Leaping try.

And Diesel Wilkinson wins the battle this time against Nick Elliott and hauls it in up at a 46 yard line. That is a Damon Orthodontics first down and again at 23. That was just an athlete with better hops than the DB trying to cover him. Both guys were there. Diesel got that 5050 Paul.

He's asking for a blow. He's pretty tired, but he's gonna going to come over here in the slot, I think, and keep playing. He's a, he's a warrior. Good football player. Yeah.

Remember he ran 73 yards not long ago for a touchdown that didn't count. Yep. And he's coming out. Yeah. And they only have 10 players on the field, I think.

First down and 10. East Valley they handed off Nesbitt. Has a hole off the left side, across midfield. Down to the 45 of North Central before he's finally wrestled to the ground. As that time for North Central it was Dominic Vaughn who brings him down, but a gain of about nine yards.

Yeah, good job that time on the left side. Little zone read there. Good block by the tight end. Kind of sealed the edge. And just a nice job by the running back to hit the hole.

It opened up, closed quickly, but he got through in plenty of time under Anderson. Splits to the right side. Wide to the left is Jackson Hallela. High snap, they handed off Nesbitt. Cuts to his right.

First down inside the 40, spins out of a tackle and then gets stoned as he gets to about the 37 or 8 yard line. Good hit put on him down there. Trying to see who that is as they get up. It was Nick Elliott that put him down. But again down to the 37 for a first down.

You surprised that it's Nick Elliott? He seems to be all over the field. His expertise really is on the defensive side there. He just. He's a tough kid.

He'll stick his nose in there and they'll end up going to the ground. Gain of 8 yards on the play. And so it's another Damon Orthodontics. First down, down at the 37 of North Central. Clock running, 448 remaining to play here in the first half.

Fields the quarterback, brings a man in motion to the left side and he will hand it off. Nesbitt off the left side, gets hit in the backfield and dropped right at about the line of scrimmage. Maybe a loss of a yard. I think it was Tommy Elliott. Yes, Tommy Elliott there on the play.

No gain. Right back at the line of scrimmage, the 37 yard line. Good read by him. He saw the tight end blocked down. As soon as he did that, he shot the gap.

It was a run play. Came right up field. Made the tackle. The Elliott brothers, they're gonna. They're gonna need.

They're gonna need some ice after this game. They're gonna be busy and sore, but I like where they play. Second down and 10 now for North Central. Ball in the left hash. They have trips to the right.

Wilkinson, the inside receiver, and they'll throw it to him out on the right side. He makes, oh, he doesn't make one man miss. Great play. And they bring him down for a loss of a yard, maybe two. They're trying to see who that was that made the knockdown.

These numbers are hard to read. I think it might be Rylan Kyle that brought him down for a loss of two. Yeah, that was. I think it was Ryland Kyle. 10.

Just a nice job. 511, 170 and he's not Diesel's not an easy guy to bring down the open field, but he hit him in the thigh, went low and got, you know, enough around the ankles to finally trip him up. Wilkinson wide right, Halela wide left. Third down and long. They hand it off.

Nesbitt burrowing in off the left side and he will plow forward to about the 35. He will gain four yards, but he'll set up a fourth down here and about eight yards to go. And I don't think they're not field goal range, so most likely I don't think they're going to punt either. This is going to be a go for it on fourth down. So fourth down and eight now for the Knights at the 35 of North Central.

Clock running 305 remaining to play here in the first half. 14 nothing. East Valley with the lead. North Central has twice been inside the East Valley 10 and have failed to get any points and they may let this clock go down to zero and take a timeout. Adam Fisher standing right next to the linesman over across the way.

Fields the quarterback out of the pistol formation. Wilkinson in motion through the left side and they take the snap handed off Nesbitt off the left side. He gets to the five, breaks the tackle, storms forward and into the end zone. Touchdown touchdown for Titan. Nesbitt off the left side.

And more missed tackles that time for North Central as they had two players. Nick Elliott was there, Seth Bromley was there, two of their best defenders and Nesbitt ran over both of them and gets his second touchdown of the game. This one from seven yards out. Just a great run Larry. Let's give credit to Nesbitt.

He was the guy blowing the people up. Wasn't necessarily a missed tackle. It was just a great effort by the running back who had better pad level than the defenders trying to tackle. So a seven yard touchdown. Here's the PAT booted up and it is good.

What a great run and a great job. He saw a seam over there that was on the other side of the field and the headlinesman over there threw the flag there, did a great job of hitting that seam coming up the right hash and just outran everybody. Well blocked, but oh boy, unfortunately the hankie came out. Somebody grabbed somebody and that's a bummer because that was a great run by Nick Elliot. Great kick return.

So again, North Central penalty. Well, they haven't been hit by penalties. It's been turnovers that have hurt them in this game. But they were twice first and goal, inside the 10, unable to get touchdowns. Now a touchdown taken off the board on a kickoff return.

This could be 21. 21 right now. Exactly. You're exactly right. 21 nothing.

But that's what happens when you're struggling, when you're trying to find your identity. The mistakes come in at the worst possible time and this is really a game that they'll watch on film with and say exactly the same thing. We should be going in at halftime, tied up 21 all. We have a great chance to win this game if we don't make those mistakes. If we just hang on to the ball and we quit making penalties, somebody is being made to come off the field here For North Central, I'm guessing blood on a knee and the athletic trainers will take care of that as Gabe Peterson is out.

With that, Dominic Vaughn has to come in a sophomore on the offensive line. And now NC will take a timeout with a minute 45 remaining. You know I know they took some slack but really Larry, when you look at it from a standpoint of the spoken camp public schools, you know the Ferris and LC North Central Shadel Rogers, this is the place to be.

Back to throw it as Tommy Elliott hit as he throws down the field and it's incomplete. Looking for a man up the left hash mark there. I think it was Vance Taylor the intended receiver and the passing complete. So it'll be second down. He just tried to come back for that balls a little bit under thrown.

He would actually been able to catch it because the defensive back blew right by him. But he kind of stumbled and went. When he stumbled, I think he lost track where the football and it just kind of went off his hands. But it would have been a really tough catch. He's got to slow down and he's got to reach back for the football.

That's hard to do. Two receivers split to the left. Two men wide to the right. Second and 10 North Sea at their own 25. Ball on the left hash mark.

Tommy Elliott the quarterback brings a man in motion through to the right side and they will throw it. They want to set up a screen for Workman out over the left side, breaks a tackle, gets to the 30 and is shouldered out of bounds as he gets maybe to the 32 yard line. Looked like it was Casey Stephens over there on the stop. Put him at the 29. So that's a four yard gain on that play.

It'll bring up third and six and the clock stops with 129 remaining in the half. First tackle by Stephens over there. Nice job to get a shoulder in to knock him out of bounds. Good play. Call that time by North Central.

Little screen to the tight side of the field. Good block out front to give him some positive yards. Workman had 46 rushing yards, 30 receiving yards last week. This week I am at 29 rushing yards and 30 receiving yards here in the first half. Third down and six, low snap, Tommy Elliott throws.

That ball is deflected and through the hands of an enchanted receiver for North Central in the pass. Incomplete. I think it was Aiden Swanson who jumped that route. The defensive back for East Valley, he tipped the ball in the air and then it went through the hands. I think of Vance Taylor and so it'll be fourth down.

There was plenty of it almost looked like a volleyball match out there. Just a nice job of jumping the route, getting the hands up, knocking that down. He gets a pass breakup, but nearly knocked it in the hands of the North Central receiver who could have caught that and continued to run. So NC3 and out. Now they have to punt it away.

Bi Ru Tang. Low snap, he grabs it, kicks it away and they kick it way away from Diesel Wilkinson. The problem is it's rolling backward and NC will have to kill it at their own 38 yard line. And so that ends up being a nine yard punt. And East Valley with a minute 15 and two timeouts has it in North Central territory.

That looked like it went off the punter's foot off to the side. He was trying to angle kick that and sometimes as a punter I've done that. You, you try to angle kick it and you kind of whiff. You don't get full contact on the football and it squirts off to the right side like that one did. It didn't help with the bad bounce.

Hit point first and came backwards. So just a bad break for North Central on that punt. They have four receivers now. Do NC split to the left side here. Ball on the left # and one man wide right.

So my guess is they're going to throw it to Wilkinson, who's the back of the four receiver set there. They don't. And the quarterback Fields will run to the right side. Now running for the corner, being pursued. And he is tackled by Tommy Elliott.

Great hustle there as he gets to the 37 yard line for a gain of a yard. Both Tommy and his brother Nick are pretty, pretty quick. You're not going to outrun those guys. And good angle by him. The quarterback thought he saw some room over there, man for man coverage on the far side of the field.

So that brought the corner deep. He had an opening there. But just a nice job by Elliott coming up as a linebacker making that play. Second and nine clock running down to 45 seconds left in the first half. Fields the quarterback, just a sophomore, takes the shotgun snap, looks to the left side, throws to the left side for Diesel Wilkinson.

He is hit by two men and brought down right at the line of scrimmage. Might have lost a yard. Great job that time by the NC defense. That was Campbell over there along with Rylan Kyle. Both those guys read that play.

I mean, they're keying on Diesel big time for obvious reasons. That looks like that they're going to take it. That's the end of the half. No, they're taking a timeout. 17 seconds remaining to play here in the half.

And East Valley has one more timeout. It'll be third and 11 for the Knights at the 39. Well, stop into the Swinging Doors at the corner. Francis Monroe before or after the game to meet, to eat and to have fun. One of my favorite places to visit.

Titan Nesbitt, I have at 88 yards rushing plus two touchdowns so far here in the first half. Well, give, you know, give Fields credit to. He had a 70, what, three yard touchdown pass called back. Yeah, from Diesel Wilts. So he could have even bigger stats here had it not been a penalty.

Hallela split to the left side, three men wide to the right with Wilkinson the inside receiver on the hash mark on third down and 11, fields to throw, runs up the middle, breaks a tackle 35, cuts to his left, gets to the 30 and runs out of bounds. He will get first down yardage down to the 26 yard line. That's a gain of 13 and a Damon Orthodontics first down. Well, you know you get maybe one more shot here at a play but it's got to be quick. So sideline, sideline shot.

Depending on how their kicker is, you're probably getting close to field goal range. I think it's still too far. So I think they're going to take one shot, maybe try to throw it into the end zone. Well, let's see what they do here. 10 seconds remaining in the half.

They do have a timeout. Trips to the right, one man wide left ball on the left hash back to throw. Is the quarterback looking over the middle, pressured out of the pocket. Heaves it deep down the middle of the field for Wilkinson who makes the catch. Does he get into the end zone?

He does, he does. Touchdown East Valley. Diesel Wilkinson with the touchdown. And that is a 26 yard play with two seconds remaining remaining to play here in the first half. And East Valley on top 27 nothing.

Great job by Diesel to high point that and that's what he's good at. He's got really good ups and he just went up above the safety. Good coverage there, but he just was the better athlete on that play and pulled it in, fell into the end zone. Nice job. Touchdown.

Here's the point after try and it is good. So the 26 yard touchdown from Wilkinson 2 Wilkinson from Fields with 2 seconds left in the half puts Fields over a hundred yards passing, gives him his first touchdown of the game and more importantly give The Knights a 28 nothing lead. You talk about all the woodish shoulda coulda's for North Central. That was, that was a tough deal. I mean just, you can't give up those points.

If I remember correctly, I think Clarkson did the same thing at right before halftime in last week's game as well. So you know, just a great job, great individual effort by Wilkinson to high point that thing and give Fields credit. He knew where he was going to go. He threw that to a spot that only his receiver could make the play on. That was a very nice job by him.

A five play, 38 yard drive, 26 yard pass from Fields to Wilkinson caps off the touchdown drive. And that is brought to you by stcu. All right, two seconds left in the half. Here's a little number downfield. It's grabbed by one of the up men.

He runs to the left sidelines, goes down the sidelines and is pushed out of bounds. That was A. D. wright, who ended up hauling that one in. And that ends the first half of play here at One Spokane Stadium.

This portion of our halftime is being brought to you by the Swinging Doors and here is our first half recap here. East Valley got the ball to start the game, a nine play 58 yard drive. It took 354 off the clock and the sophomore quarterback Tobin Taryn fields with a 19 yard rushing touchdown. It was seven nothing in favor of East Valley. North Central gets the ball get a first down but then they fumbled.

It was recovered by Stevens, Casey Stevens on the play and East Valley took over at the North Central 42. Just one play, 42 yards, nine seconds off the clock and it was titan Nesbitt a 42 yard rushing touchdown. So they take advantage of the turnover and take a 14 to nothing lead. Then North Central starts a great drive. Twelve plays took up better than five minutes but they fumbled at the North Central seven yard line.

It was recover, excuse me at the East Valley 7 yard line. It was recovered by the linebacker Rodriguez and that gave NC the East Valley the ball back after that long drive from nc But Nick Elliott comes up with an interception right after that and North Central takes over at the East Valley 33. They again drive down inside the 10 yard line but they get denied a touchdown. They end up having to try a field goal and that was blocked and so East Valley took over at their own 12. They get a 13 play 88 yard drive that takes 657 off the clock.

Nesbitt his second rushing touchdown of the game, this one a seven yarder point after good by Vilhavin and it's a 21 to nothing game. North Central then goes three and out. North NC off a bad punt takes over at their own or at the NC30. East Valley takes over at the NC38 and on a third down and long play fields the quarterback threw up a jump ball. Diesel Wilkinson comes down with it just barely in the end zone for the score point after good 28 nothing at the intermission in favor of East Valley but this could be a 28 to 21 game very easily.

You talk about the two fumbles, potential scores there, yet a 80 yard touchdown kickoff return that was called back for a hold. You had a block field goal. You know, there's 24 points right there, Larry, honestly, that have been left on the field for North Central. So they've been moving the ball, they've been effective in terms of what they're doing. They just been snake picked a little when it comes to being inside the red zone and not coming away with any points.

And let's get a little flavor here. From one side, Spokane Stadium. Here is the North Central band. That is the North Central band. And you want to talk about somebody who is a jack of all trades.

The starting tight end for North Central, Zach Schlettert is not in the locker room. He's down on the field playing the trumpet. Well, and here's the other thing. There's a guy named Tommy Elliott. Might have heard of him.

He's also the homecoming Kane. So they're all purpose at North Central. They could do a lot of stuff that's. That's cool. I like seeing the dudes out there.

Usually the football star is the homecoming king. That's not anything strange. But it is strange to see a football player in football uniform with the marching band at halftime, I played the clarinet, but the only thing that came out of it was the high. You did not play a clarinet? I did originally and then it was so bad that even the cat didn't like it because it would run out of the room because nobody else could hear what I was playing except the animals.

It was very high pitched. It wasn't very. I have a hard time believing that you ever played a clarinet. I didn't play it for very long and I certainly wasn't very good at it. So kudos to the musicians that have some skills because I certainly was.

So two and one Clarkston one and one Rodgers Rogers coming off a very disappointing overtime loss here to Shadow park last week. 3635 in a must win game against Clarkston this evening. That should be a whale of a game. And you said that game last week was unbelievable.

To the overtime game between Rodgers. Yes, that's tomorrow night here. That's the early game. I think I misspoke. I think I said that was the nightcap here.

That's the early game tomorrow at 5 o'. Clock. So that's going to be a huge game. Yes, that was a great game last week. Shadow and Rodgers went into overtime one by Shadow park in the overtime period.

So good game tomorrow. The nightcap here tonight is again a key game. 2 and 1, Shadow Park 1 and 1. Pullman, you don't want to have two losses on the 2A side. So a huge game for the, for those two teams this evening.

Pullman has some athletes too. They're coming in. They've had a good tradition of, you know, of all purposes players down there, football, basketball, baseball and Shadows having a great year that I like the way that they're playing right now and should be really exciting going to Be kind of cool.

All right then tomorrow Riverside will play West Valley. West Valley in the non conference 7, 28 teams in the standings. So once somebody has to play non conference West Valley's turn is tomorrow when they host Riverside. 3A 4A standings Mount Spokane, Gonzaga Prep each 4 0. They will meet on October 20th at Union Stadium.

Ridgeline at 3 and 2. Central Valley, Mead U High all 2 and 2, Lewis & Clark 2 and 3, Ferris 1 and 4 and Cheney is 05 games tomorrow on the 3A side, Mount Spokane plays at Central Valley. That's the best game of the day. Ridgeline travels to Cheney. Mead will host Ferris at Union Stadium.

Gonzaga Prep heads to the Valley. They will play U High. And Lewis and Clark will be in the nightcap here at One Spokane Stadium tomorrow night against South Ridge. And if you missed our pregame interview with Dave Nichols from the Spokesman Review, he gives you the reminder that if you are coming to that LC Southridge game tomorrow night, be advised the Chiefs have a home game in the arena.

There is the badminton championships going on in the podium and then a doubleheader of games here. So there's going to be a lot of traffic and a lot of parking situation and we'll see how it all goes tomorrow. The first time we've had something going on at each of the three events which are right here separated by about a block. And you don't have that new facility for parking done yet, under construction. The Value Village across from the arena on the north side of the arena.

That's going to be an area where they'll be able to park a lot of cars that's still being completed. So yeah, get here early or good luck finding a place or at least give yourself some time to navigate the traffic or go downtown. You can park in the parkade. I made that walk. It's 12 minutes from downtown Parkade to this facility.

It's not a bad place and it's actually a pretty good place. Plastic pubs right there. A lot of things going on. It's an easy walk right across the bridge, walk right up the street right by the podium and you'll be right here. Might be another way to go if you're having issues finding places around the stadium.

Yeah. Just be advised there's going to be a lot of traffic around here tomorrow and so bring some patience. Don't expect just to walk into the stadium with no problems and easy, easy commute because it'll be a little congested around here between 6 and 7:30 and you got traffic Friday night everybody's getting out of town, a lot of stuff going on.

So it but you know what? That's what makes it cool. I mean there's a lot of things happening here. And honestly, beautiful facility, great place for us to have a football stadium. A lot of stuff going on.

Individually. Titan Nesbitt for East Valley, their senior running back. I had him at 10 carries for 88 yards and two first half touchdowns. Taren Fields, the quarterback I had at six carries for 54 yards and one touchdown. Diesel Wilkinson, two carries for nine yards.

Taren Fields passing unofficially again, I had him at eight out of 11 for 101 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Diesel Wilkinson Five catches, 73 yards and a touchdown. Titan Nesbitt Two catches for 16 yards. Hunter Anderson One for 12 in the first half of play, East Valley committed the one turnover on the interception for North Central. Trey Workman Six carries for 29 yards.

Tommy Elliott Seven carries for 38 yards in the first half of play. Elliott Passing eight out of 1451 yards, no touchdowns, no interceptions. Workman Four catches for 30 yards, Campbell Two for eight, Schletter One for nine and Nick Elliott One catch for four yards in the first half. The two fumbles for North Central plus a block field goal but two turnovers. I only had NC with one penalty for 10 yards in East Valley, four for 25 unofficially in the first half of play.

And those are your first half stats. Rodriguez fumble recovery. Stevens fumble recovery as well. The interception as we talked about that went to Elliott. Those turnovers.

NC gets the ball to start the second half. They could have had, they had a touchdown called back on a kickoff return by a penalty. And then they had two trips inside the 10 yard line. They got nothing. This could be a 28, 21 game.

They've got to play this like it's nothing, nothing or 28 21. Here in the second half they have shown the potential to move the ball. They just have to do it consistently and get it in the end zone. And that's the key. They've got to get it in the end zone.

They've done that. This is two weeks in a row we've had a chance to see them, they move the ball. I mean they've done a nice job. They're physical, the point of attack, they can run the ball, they can throw, but they just make those key mistakes, especially inside the 20. And that's where it gets tough, Larry, because everybody is packed in there trying to stop the run.

You're playing probably man coverage on the back end. The windows aren't as big. So you've got to make that key play that key run that key throw or and not turn the football over, make a penalty. And that seems to be the things that happen unfortunately to North Central. So east valley with a 28 nothing lead.

But again North Central has had opportunities. Just bad luck and bad luck and tough plays have cost them. Nick Elliott, who had a long kickoff return for a touchdown called back due to a penalty, is back deep to receive here, being joined by Josiah Dunn. And they will both be back at about their 15 yard line here to await this kickoff from Paul Vilhavin for East Valley. And our second half kickoff is presented as always by our friends at Papa Murphy's Pizza.

Papa Murphy's changed the way you pizza. And there the ball is off the tee, the wind not blowing that hard. So I think it was a faulty tee job there by the young kicker. And now the referee is, or the linesman is going to come over and say, here, try it again, try it again, young man. This is his third opportunity.

And there the ball is up. So we're getting set for the second half. North Central will be driving here in the third quarter from the south to the north, from our right to our left. Nick elliott from the 11 yard line out over the 20 cuts to his right of the 25, gets outside over the 30, 35, 40. Now it's going to be a foot race down the sidelines at the 45 to the 50.

And he had just shouldered out of bounds inside the 40 as Hallela who chased Nick Edward, Nick Elliot down in the kickoff return that he had for a touchdown that was overturned, is able to get the angle on him and run him out at the 37 of East Valley. But a great return by Nick Elliott. You know what Elliott did on that Larry, that was really smart. He took it right up the middle and then he made a push, bounced to the left and that Drew in the right contained guy. And as soon as he saw that he peeled back to the right side, was able to get around.

He wasn't able to hit the hole the way he did when he returned that touchdown. That got called back but it was enough to give him great field position all the way down to the 37. First down and 10 out of the backfield. Workman in motion off to the left side and Tommy Elliott will run. Not much for him there as he got hit by Logan Eiley and a couple other guys came in to help out.

About a yard gain for Tommy Elliott on that run to the 36. Yeah if he looks at film he'll see the hole was to the right side and he went left that, that looked like me trying to run the ball. I always picked the wrong hole. So try to find the right spot there. And that's.

You'd mentioned this before. Slow to the hole, quick through it. He, he, he, he basically reacted without reading and if he reads that, that just a little take a half a second longer he would had a big. Nick Elliott is a fullback set to the right of the quarterback. Tommy Elliott Workman the tailback out of the pistol on second and nine.

Tommy Elliott takes the snap, numbers high, hands it to Workman off right guard. Not much there as East Valley stops that play. A gain of maybe a yard and well the officially going to spot it right at the 36. No gain. Well they're basically having a tough time.

This is two down territory so you can run that. They're gonna have get to get outside because East Valley is packing everybody inside. They're bringing both their backers on blitzes. They're making it really tough to run between the tackle which is where North Central had some nice success. But I think they're going to have to pass the ball and they're going to have to get outside the end to do that.

So third and nine now for the Wolf Pack. Ten and a half minutes to play, third quarter, clock running. East Valley on top, 28 nothing. Four wide receivers, three to the left, one to the right. Ball on the right hash.

Tommy Elliott out of the pistol, takes the snap, waist tie, fades back. Pressure coming, throws over the middle, man open. It's caught. Josiah Dunn, 25, 20 down the hash 15, breaks the tackle to the 10 and is wrestled down by Diesel Wilkinson, saving a touchdown at the 10 yard line. That's a 26 yard passing gain and a Damon Orthodontics first down.

Other than the kick return that was called back, that's the biggest play of the game for North Central. Inside slot receiver ran a slant route and inside hit him right in stride. Linebacker couldn't get over there. Safety was too far inside. Great job by Wilkinson to save the touchdown.

His fifth tackle on the night. He's having himself a whale of a game on both sides of the ball. First down and goal. This is the third time NC has been in this position. First and goal, inside the 10 yard line.

Now, right now, right now, they are right at the 10. Done. The lone receiver split to the right. Everybody else in tight. Tommy Elliott takes the shotgun snap, hands it to Workman off the left side, cuts up field, gets inside the 10 and batters his way down to the seven, maybe the six yard line.

That's going to be a gain of about 4 yards for Trey Workman. Just a good run by Trey Workman. I like that kid. I'd like them for two years. He's, he's a tough dude.

He's going to get you the tough hard yards that you need to have here. I'd come back with that same play. I'd fake the ball to Workman, I'd let Elliott run to the outside maybe with an option opportunity because you're seeing East Valley kind of compress everything, you know, in between the ends to try to stop that run.

915 remaining to play. Third quarter, 28 nothing. East Valley, North Central, second and goal now at the East Valley 6. Ball near the center of the field. Tommy Elliott, the quarterback, takes the snap, fakes the handoff, runs to the right side, flips a pass in the pass incomplete.

Great pressure that time by by Main. Mason Watt, the sophomore linebacker, he was in Elliott's face and Elliot did a good job just to get rid of that football and not take the loss. Well, what they're doing is they're blitzing their backers, they're bringing up from the outside and between the, between the guards, there's really no place to go. So you've got to have a kind of a quick passing attack, slants, outs, maybe a fade, but get rid of that ball quickly because you're not going to have a lot of time to throw the football. So third and goal now from the six yard line.

They tried to spread it out a little bit. One receiver split to the right side. Three men wide to the left. Tommy Elliott out of the pistol, takes the snap, fades back. A lot of pressure.

And he is hit. He dropped the ball again. It's picked up by east valley at the 20 and a big man is running it back. And he is knocked off his feet by Workman, the running back. That is Rodriguez, who recovers his second fumble of the game and runs it back up to the 40 yard line.

That is the third fumble of the ball game. Oh, that's just heartbreaking. I mean, this is, this is just a tough deal to watch because North Central is right there. Just a great play. I couldn't tell who ripped the ball out of, out of Elliott's hand, but a great job.

Two fumble recoveries by Rodriguez and he tried to house that thing, but Workman was going to have anything to do with it. And he ran over and not only hit him to knock him down, but he also hit him when he was on the ground. I think he was a little grumpy too, because that's, that's three times now, Larry. They fumbled in just crucial situations with a chance to score in the red zone. Oh, man, that's just, that's tough.

Well, two fumbles in the red zone and then one block field goal in the red zone, which doesn't count as a turnover. They had another turnover in their own territory on a fumble. Here's a bad snap, but it's grabbed. Nice catch by the quarterback who will run to the left side and get dumped and that'll be up for a loss on the play. I think it was Seth Bromley that brought him down.

A loss of a yard and the, the play, but a great catch on a high snap by Fields. Yeah, Bromley's a beast. I like the way he plays. He runs all over the place. He makes guys kind of work and he's one of those inspirational guys there and he's.

I like him. He's a good football player. So a loss of a yard. Second and 11 now for East Valley. They've got two receivers split to the right side.

Diesel Wilkinson wide to the left. Well, no, Diesel Wilkinson comes in motion. He was the slot receiver on the right side. He gets on a fly side sweep, crosses the 40, 45 up the sidelines, out of bounds, close to first down yardage. See where the officials put him out at?

They will put him out at the 49. That is a gain of 10, but he's a yard short of a first down. Good, good block out there by the wide receiver. Just a nice job, you know, kind of sealing everything. And I think that was, that was Hunter Anderson who was over there, you know, to make that play.

No, I think that was Jackson Haalalla who basically created the block to seal to give Diesel a chance to get to the outside. Lala split to the left side. Anderson wide right, Wilkinson the slot receiver to the right on third and one. They hand it to Nesbitt. Big opening and he winds it across the 50 down to the 45 yard line as I think Workman was there to bring him down.

So the corner was lined up to the outside and he had an easy run across the middle. The inside back was blitzing. There was a nice little hole on the backside that the QB fields was able to kind of feather that ball in there to halala. So first down and 10 at the 32 yard line now of North Central. Motion coming from Jack Hanson through the left side and they'll hand it to Nesbitt off the left side.

Keeping North Central's defense kind of on their heels and they just do a good job. And that's really what head coach Adam Fisher he was really good at. He was an offensive guy, kind of grew up on the defensive side of the ball. So he knows how to attack these different defenses. He's called a nice game tonight.

Trips to the right, one man wide left. Second down and three. Fields wants to throw, looks to the left now comes back over the middle, has a catch and being tackled immediately as he gets down to the 12 yard line. That's a gain of 13 yards. Is the receiver Jack Hanson?

Yeah, he's a tight end. He was split out on that one. And they had double slants going. They had Hanson inside, they had another wide receiver behind him. And Hanson, you know, caught the ball, got tackled instantly and the receiver running behind him, he also got tackled.

It was a tackle fest. Gain of 13 on the play. First and 10 now down at the 12 yard line. Nesbitt the running back set to the right of the quarterback. He'll get the call.

Running off the left side, has a little opening inside the 10 to the 5. And he is hog tied and thrown down by Workman as he gets to the three yard line. Again a nine yards there for Titan Nesbitt who's over 100 yards in this game. Unofficially, Workman's had six tackles for North Central as well. He also had a tackle on offense when what Rodriguez had to, you know, tried to house that football.

So he's been a busy be on this drive knocking guys down. This is great. Drive for East Valley and they're starting to wear down this North Central team. You can see the defense, especially the line and the DNS have their hands on their hips. They're, they're tired right now.

Second down and one from the three yard line. They had it to Nesbitt off the left side into the end zone. Touchdown touchdown for East Valley. A three yard rushing touchdown for Titan Nesbitt. His third of the game.

And with 5:32 remaining to play here in the third quarter, it's 34 nothing in favor of the Knights. Nice run that time. Well blocked third touchdown of the night as you said for, for Tyson. But give the offensive line credit. They're creating holes.

They will fake the handoff and Elliot keeps off the left side, has first down and more as he crosses the 50. Diesel Wilkinson brings him down as he gets to the 45 yard line. That's a gain of about 12 yards and another Damon Orthodontics first down.

Well he got a heck of a block there from Nick Elliott who came in from the outside and sealed the linebacker. He just ear holed him and that opened up that hole big time. Just a great job by him to kind of free, you know, hit the back on that play to that left side. First down and 10 NC back in East Valley territory again at the 45 yard line. They've got one man split to the left side, three wide to the right and there's a snap back.

Elliott will throw it out quickly on a hop, incomplete. Looking for his brother Nick Elliott out there, the middle of three receivers. Kind of a quick little screen type play out there, incomplete. Wanted to reward him for that last block. Fortunately didn't get him the football, so his brother's gonna give him the raspberries when they get home.

So second and 10 now for NC down to 423 remaining to play here in the third quarter, 35 nothing. East Valley on top here. Nick Elliott, slot receiver, split to the right side, inside of Vance Taylor. They have two men wide to the left as well. Ball on the left hash Tommy Elliott out of the Pistol, takes the snap, runs to the right side, gets a block from Workman trying to get to the outside flag down, crosses the 45 yard line and gets stopped close to the 41.

But we're gonna get a hold, I think here on North Central. So it would have been a gain of about 4 yards. Instead it's gonna be a walk off, I believe because of a hold. But we'll see. Four of the five officials are discussing it.

And here is the white hat. The referee coming out of the center of the field to signal holding on the defense. So that will be added to the end of the play. A four yard run and defensive holding will take that ball down to the 31 yard line. Ken Mathias, the big seven footer, the, the umpire there took three strides in few A, went 10 yards.

That's pretty good. I guess when you're that tall you can like me, I have little baby steps, so be nice to have that kind of stride, that kind of distance. So Elliot, the four yard run, East Valley, unofficially, their fifth penalty of the game. Good for 35 yards. And again, NC for these guys to get in the end zone.

Larry, really, they, they've been down close on several occasions in this game. This could very easily be a much more closer game than what it is. Three men wide to the left, one wide to the right out of the Pistol. Tommy Elliott throws it out quickly to Nick Elliott trying to make a man miss, gets across the 30. Can't make that man miss though.

Good defense there by East Valley as they bring him down at the 28 yard line. That was Hunter Anderson that brought him down. Good play. Yeah, Hunter was in there and also 55 Rodriguez, who came over to help off. They both get a half, half tap on that.

I like the pursuit for East Valley. They're, they're doing a nice job. A lot of guys playing both ways, six players, but they're seeming to be in pretty good shape. You know, they're they're not tiring out right now. Sleddard split to the left.

Three men to the right after that three yard gain. On second down, Elliott turned the wrong way. Now keeps it himself and turns something into nothing as he crosses the 25. It'll be spotted just short of a first down at the 22. He turned to the left and the running back went to the right.

So Elliott had to follow him into the hole and gain six. And that was actually good because East Valley was blitzing from that side. They had extra guys, kind of overwhelmed the offensive line there, so he ran away from the blitz. Very smart play, very heads up play by him. You know, pretty crafty to see what was going on with that breakdown.

Still making positive yards. Vance Taylor split wide to the right. Nick Elliott slotted inside him. Two men wide to the left on third and one NC at the east valley 22 out of the pistol, they all hand it off. Workman, nothing there.

Great job by the defense to come in and submarine that play and keep it from going anywhere. I'm trying to see who it is at the bottom of the pile for East Valley right now he's flying his back. Now rising to his feet is Jake Gallagher, the defensive end. He helped stuff that play. Lots of a yard.

Yeah, he did a nice job. Crashed really hard that time and basically pushed the tackle right back into the middle and really no place for Workman to go. So an excellent individual effort. Big fourth down here. Let's see if they're able to convert.

Clock running, 205 left. Third quarter, fourth and two. North Central at the east valley 23. One man split to the left, three to the right. Back to throw.

Elliott, he will run. Keeps it himself, has a big opening. 2015, 10 fumbles the ball, dives on in the end zone. Touchdown. He East Valley or excuse me, North Carolina.

Touchdown, North Central. So Tommy Elliott fumbles for the fourth time in this game. But he recovered that one in the end zone for the score. And the Wolf pack are on the board. Well, finally got a break, didn't they Larry?

And that was a nice play by the defender. He came over and ripped at the ball. Ripped that thing out of there. But Elliott fortunately was going full speed and the ball finally gave him a nice bounce. And the Wolf packer, they got a break.

Well, our STCU touchdown drive recap. It was a 64 yard drive and on a fourth and two play on a pass attempt, Tommy Elliott pulled the ball down and decided to run. And he did so for 23 yards. Fumbling the ball into the end zone. He recovered it.

Touchdown for North Central. Seven quarters they'd gone without scoring and they've had so many opportunities. That's got to be frustrating. I been in locker rooms, you know, watching film and seeing the mistakes you make and it's just you're right there, you have a chance to make a play, then just something comes in, it seems like and knocks the legs out from underneath you.

Very frustrating. Good for North Central. Nice job by Tommy Elliott to finish that thing and end up with a touchdown. So here's the kickoff. Beru Tang in East Valley expecting an unsight kick.

Here they have nine players between the the 40 and 50 yard line and it is kind of an onside kick and is. I don't think he meant to do it, but that's what it basically was. And it's covered by one of the East Valley up men and that was Casey Stephens jumping in that ball, the sophomore tight end. And so East Valley gets good field position at their own 46. Actually I think he was just trying to angle kick that to keep it away from Diesel.

Nobody wants to kick the Diesel on return stuff, but he kind of knew the ball and it did look like an onside kick, but I don't think that was the intention. I would agree. I think he was trying to angle it away from the deep back and just got a little bit too. It's like me trying to hit a driver. And you top it, you hit a dribbler.

So first down here for East Valley, they've got Wilkinson as the slot receiver to the left side, one man wide to the right so two split left, one to the right. Out of the shotgun formation, Fields the quarterback takes the snap, hands it to Nesbitt off the left side, bounces outside, crosses the the 50 and is thrown down as he gets to the 49. A gain of about 5 yards in the play. It'll bring up second down at about 5. Good tackle, good job on the inside there.

Think that was Elliot again coming in and just a nice run. Nesbitt I like he's run hard. Three touchdowns tonight. He's had himself a nice game for East Valley along with Wilkinson and also with fields. So second and five now for the Knights.

Clock counting down, a minute 17 remaining to play here in the third quarter. Knights have still 13 on the play clock, same formation, two men wide left, one to the right and they will run it. Nesbitt off the right side, first down, running Moore as he crashes over the 45, gets spilled at the 41. But a flag comes in as Nick Floyd help make that tackle. And let's see what this marker is all about.

Probably going to be on East Valley here with a minute remaining in the quarter as the officials talk it over. It is a hold, they'll move it from the spot. What about the 37 back? It looks like the 38, no 43 yard line and they'll walk it back to the 47. So remember the.

Basically they, they started at the 46 so. But they had the, the five yard rushing gain. So this is going to be a four yard penalty basically and bring up second and nine. But they would had a first down. Yes.

Yeah. So that hurts them holding downfield like that. So second and nine here they had it second and five and after the four yard penalty, second down and nine, three receiver split left one to the right and Fields wants to throw quickly out to Diesel Wilkinson at the 45.

Over the 50, down to the 45. Spins over the 40. 3530 now foot race 25 20. He's going to win it. 105 Touchdown Diesel Wilkinson.

A beautiful run, 53 yards and that pass run play puts Wilkinson over 100 yards receiving in the game. His second touchdown catch and it's now 41. 6 here in the third quarter. Showed some great speed to just an outstanding job. Did a 360 spin move about the 35 yard line, left the corner and safety just grab an air and show the athleticism.

That's why he's getting recruited. Great job by him. Could have been his third touchdown of the night if one had got called back. Here's the point after partially blocked and it does not reach the upright. So the kick partially blocked and it's a 417 game now with 35 seconds remaining here in the in the quarter.

So that was a three play 54 yard drive, a 53 yard passing touchdown from Fields to Wilkinson which was maybe about 1 yard pass and 52 yard run out of that. And Tommy Elliott will hand it to Workman off the right side. Gets hit at the line of scrimmage and might struggle forward for a yard.

We'll see what they give him. It looks like the officials will give him to the 37 for a gain of a yard. But again a good job by that East Valley defense. Rodriguez at the bottom of the stack along with Mason Watt. Well, how many times have they been running the ball between the tackles on first down?

That's pretty much a given. They need to kind of change the play. Calling up a little bit, maybe get outside or run a little Play action. That's the end of the third quarter of play. Timeout on the field.

Nice little drag route that time. A little delay by the tight end. Just kind of slipped out in the flat. Good effort by Elliott to kind of roll to his right. Took some pressure, got rid of that football, threw it accurate, hit him right in stride and that was the difference.

Getting up field, picking up that first down, getting it on the other side of the 50 in East Valley territory. Puts Tommy Elliott over 100 yards passing in the game according to my statistics. First down and 10. Wolfpack at the east valley 49. Ball in the right hash.

One man splits to the right, three men to the left. Elliott takes the snap, throws quickly to the right side. Caught by the tight end. Schleder tries to make a man miss. Can't do it.

Good. Sure tackle there for North Central by Connor Nicholson, a sophomore as he brings him down at the 46. But a three yard passing gain to Schleiter. Nice job by Connor because he did two things. One, he broke down right before he's gonna make the tackle.

And two, he really gave the tight end, wide receiver no chance to go anywhere else. He used the side end as an tight end, sideline as an extra defender and then just kind of good form. Tackled him right out of bounds. That was a nice fundamental play by Schleiter. Split to the right side.

Three men wide left. Second and seven for the wolf pack at the east valley 46 from the right, hash out of the pistol. Tommy Elliott fades back, looks to the left, throws deep to the left side looking for his brother who's out there diving try. Incomplete down at about the 10 yard line. Nick Elliott had the corner beaten over there, but the pass just overthrown.

It'll be third down and Diesel was over there laying out two, making a play. He's going to come out, get a break now third long. They're going to bring an extra defender in there. That was a good effort by him to get over from his free safety spot to at least help challenge that play. But that was just a half step overthrown.

Beautiful throw, trying to hit that, that seam rot right down the middle. So third down and seven now for North Central at the East Valley 46. A receiver fairly tight to the formation on the right side. Three men wide to the left and back to throw is Tommy Elliott. Here comes pressure.

It's a screen set up for Workman and so Goodwin 40, 45, 45, 40. Down the sidelines, inside the 30. Sidesteps a man gets inside the 25 and is finally knocked down as it gets to the 24 yard line as Workman did a nice job there on that screen. And that is a gain of about 20 yards in a first down. Yeah, excellent blocking downfield too.

Nice job by 70. That was Jacob Sanchez. The tackle. He got out there and he sealed the linebacker. Nice one handed catch.

To who by? By Workman. He's got some hands. 22 yards on the pickup. Down to the 24 yard line.

First down and 10 again. Four wide receivers, three to the left. Elliott out of the pistol. Here comes the blitz. Throws quickly as a catch.

Nick elliott inside the 20 to the 15. Lowers his shoulder, gets down to about the 10 yard line. And it'll be for the fourth time in this game. A first down goal to go situation for North Central. Four touchdowns.

It's a one score game. If they're able to convert all that kick the field goals. Well, that, that got blocked. So this, this could be a one score game with all the what a coulda shouldas that happened here so far for North Central. Yeah, one score game with them going in to try to tie or take the lead.

Yeah, that's the part that's so frustrating, I think for this team and the staff. Yeah, because they've had four touchdowns, you know, opportunities with three first and goals inside the 10. And then the kick return that got called back. Three receivers go to the right, one man to the left out of the pistol, they hand it off. Workman, big opening, left side at the five into the end zone.

Touchdown, North Central. Trey Workman wide open. Great blocking on the left side of the line and a 10 yard rushing touchdown down for Workman and it's now 41 13. Great job that time. And you're exactly right.

Excellent blocking on the left side. Good read by Workman. He saw that hole and he shot through it quickly. Very nice job. Excellent drive here.

957 to go in the fourth quarter. And you know this, this is the kind of stuff North Central is not going to come back and win the football game, but they're getting confidence now because they're starting to figure it out. Put the football in the end zone. Good snap back ball spotted. Here's the kick by Tang and he puts it through.

East Valley moving from right to left as we look at it. Or for south to north here at One Spokane Stadium. So here's Tang with the ball on the tee. His kickoffs have been very close to being onside kick types. Let's see what he does here.

And this will be an onside kick. It hits at the 50. It's knock free. Who's got this? I think East Valley ends up with it finally at the 46 yard line.

And Johnny on the spot. That time was Jacob Brown for North Central or for East Valley to recover. That just ahead of a North Central Wolfpack member. Getting to that football might have been a legal touch too. I think he might have gotten just before the 50.

It was really, really close and I think that both side judges are going to confer to see if they saw the same thing. So you can't knock the ball forward. So I think he got an illegal touching at the 49 yard line. Honestly. Yep, that's exactly what you have.

And so even if NC had come up with that football, it would have been overruled and East Valley will have it at the 49 of North Central for the third time. East Valley taking over in North Central territory. Check it. Fourth time they've taken over in East Valley territory. New quarterback is in.

Here's a handoff. And a new running back is into the game too. They get inside the 45 yard line, down to the 44. It is Mason Watt on the carry and Dakota Jackson is in at quarterback, a sophomore, JL Tech, your Spokane area source for custom websites and coding. So Mason Watt, he is a starter on defense now getting some offensive time. Takes it from the 49 down to the 44 for a gain of five and will bring up second. Down and five now for East Valley. But North Central's defense has this smelled out. It'll be a very short gain of about a yard the play and bring up third down and four now. Well, this is smart, you know, by Adam Fisher on a couple fronts. You're getting experience. Probably have JV players out there getting a chance to play or backups that have been sitting a while.

You're resting your starters and you're giving them real game experience which is hard to find. And that makes your team better down the road. And they have basically their second unit in with a couple of exceptions here. And again, some of these guys are starters on defense that don't come play a lot on offense. If you are hearing sirens and such, that is here at the stadium.

Not coming behind you. Here's a run to the left side and close to first down yardage is Johnny Bittner is wrestled out of bounds down at the 39. But that should be good enough for the first down. Yeah, nice run that time. Good vision to see.

Sweep cuts up field, running to the right side. Gets grabbed by the shoulder and wrestled around and thrown down. After a short gain to about the 38 yard line. Pick up at the yard for Roselli. Boy, that was a nice play.

I'm trying to figure out who the defender was. He was blocked. He was engaged with the running back over there in the corner. He had contained, forced it back inside. He just stuck his paw up there, Larry.

And it's like landing at a hawk on your. On your arm there. Just grabbed him and kind of threw him down with one arm. Good strength. Gain of a yard on the play.

Second down and nine. Clock running near seven and a half minutes remaining to play here in the fourth quarter. Not that I've landed a hawk of my arm or anything, but that's kind of what it looked like. One receiver split to the right, two to the Left. They will hand it off.

Running to the right side, Bittner has a seam inside the 30 yard line and dives forward for a first down. Down to the 26. That is a 11 yard rushing gain. And another first down. Excellent run by Bittner.

He kind of just slithered between two defenders, kind of turned his body sideways and broke through it, but he lost his footing. If he could have stayed on his feet, he might have scored. But heck of a run there. Great vision by him and kind of squeezing through a door that's like a quarter of the way open. That's what it looked like.

Nice job. Bittner, a sophomore, 135 pounder. Wow. So he can squeeze through a door. Yeah.

Doesn't need to have a big open. I need it open. And maybe one of those double hinge thing going. First down and 10. Ball spotted down at the 26 in North Central.

Here's a handoff again. Bittner, this time to the right side. Bounces inside now spins out of a tackle, gets to about the 21, maybe the 22, and has run backward from there. It appears the officials will spot him at the 22 for a gain of 4 yards. They're just running to the right side right now.

They want two things. Adam Fisher's smart. He knows what he wants to do. He wants to shorten the game. So how do you do that?

Run the ball, keep the clock going, play in front of the chains, get first downs, put the ball in the end zone. Good things happen. 620 remaining to go in this one. East valley with a 4114 lead over North Central. Second down and six now for the Knights.

Bittner, the running back to the left of the quarterback, Dakota Jackson. Motion coming from the right side. High snap. That means Jackson's gonna have to run it himself. Steps out of one tackle, gets inside the 20 and gets down to the 18 yard line for a gain of about four.

It'll bring up third and short. I think he wanted to hand it off on the fly sweep that time. That snap kept that from happening. Well, we've seen that on both sides of the ball, both North Central and with East Valley. But that was just a good ad lib by the quarterback to get positive yards.

Very manageable third down situation and a good read that time. Center got a little excited and kind of launched that thing up there. Good effort by the QB to go up and snag it. So third down and two, there's 16 on the play clock. 533 on the game clock here remaining in the fourth quarter.

So third down and two, here's another high snap. This goes over the head of the quarterback. He goes back to the 30, picks it up running now back to the 35, running to the right sidelines. Will run out of bounds at about the 33 yard line. So that's gonna end up being a loss of about 15 yards.

And bring up fourth down. I think the center got the yips on that one. He launched that one out of a cannon. There is no way that, that he's got a chance to field that thing. Unfortunately didn't turn the ball over.

But now you got fourth and forever here with 5:17 to go in the game. Fourth and 18 after that 16 yard loss there. And they have three receivers split to the left and one man wide to the right on fourth down and long. There's Jackson getting the snap back. Throws the ball deep down the right side into coverage.

And that's intercepted. Back inside the five yard line. Picked off for North Central. And I think it was Josiah Dunn. Can't read the jersey number here.

I think that's 12. Yep. Josiah done. Nice pick. Way to go Josiah.

Well done. Second interception of the day for the North Central secondary as the quarterback Jackson is intercepted. But that acts like a punt too. Yeah, I mean that's, that's kind of what you want to do on that. You know, you're trying to make a play.

If you do make a play, good for you. If not, you've sealed it. Put the ball, you know, inside the 10 on the five yard line and made them go length of the field. Five minutes to try to score. So not a bad, not a bad play.

So NC with it at their own 5 yard line here. First down and 10 and they will run the option to the left side. The quarterback keeps it, has a big opening across to the 15 yard line and Tommy Elliott takes it up to about the 18 or thereabouts. Tackled by Dakota Jackson, but he's got a checkety tackled by Caleb Rosselli. But it's going to be good for a first down.

He's Valley only had 10 players on. The safety came running in, he ran right up the line of scrimmage and then got blocked. So two things. He didn't show up on time and he took a bad angle. He's.

He's gonna do some up down tomorrow. So a gain of 13 on the play for Tommy Elliott and it's first down and 10 for North Central up at their own 18 yard line. Clock continuing to run 440 remaining to play. Here in the fourth quarter, two receivers split to either side here. They're down to six on the play clock.

Elliott with one second takes the snap, being pressured up the middle, throws it out quickly off the hands of Workman, the running back and who ended up with that football incomplete. It did hit the ground. The guy that came up with it was Logan Zeitak, the linebacker for East Valley. But it was after hit the ground it'll be second and 10 and that's an anxious moment for the coaching staff. NC because that thing was just hanging on the shoulder pad of the the receiver there and it just looked like it kind of just slid down and barely touched the ground.

That could have been a huge turnover and would have been another issue for North Central's lost the turnover game and in the process of getting beat 4114 Tommy Elliott and officially 15 out of 25 passing 140 yards. But again they got a hustle down to eight on the play clock. They're not even to the line of scrimmage yet, out of the pistol. Second down and 10 and they will just get the playoff as the clock goes to zero. Here's a quick throw and it's incomplete.

Looking for Nick Elliott, but he had two receivers right there in the same area. Neither one went for the ball because they thought the other guy was going to catch it well, and that's a mistake. You shouldn't have two receivers in the same area. So somebody ran the wrong route on that one. And you know that's when you're bringing people in.

You're mixing and matching, you're trying to do different stuff. Sometimes you're not always on the same page, so it's just difficult. You know, there's a lot of things that go into play to have a smooth offense, and timing is one of them. That was just a play that was off on the timing side. North Central takes a timeout, so will we.

Nice throw curl route. Broke a tackle, did a good job of hanging on the ball, knew the first down marker was got passed by a couple yards. Good play. Split wide to the left. One man slotted inside him.

Two men split to the right, ball on the left hash. Tommy Elliott takes the pistol snap knee high, rolls to the right side, wants to throw to the sidelines, does sliding catch by his brother Nick up at the 47 yard line and that will begin. Move the sticks 12 yards and another Damon Orthodontics first down. Now those two guys have been on the the same page. It's almost like they're brothers.

They are. So nice job. Good roll out that time. Nice route, you know, kind of running a little, little curl route. Coming back for the football, getting two hands underneath that thing.

She had to go down to the ground to catch that, so knew exactly where the first down sticks were. He ran a couple yards past it, came back, made a play. Anthony Winn is in at defensive end for East Valley. They have Corbin McPeters in on the defensive line line. They've got Logan Smith in on the defensive line on first down.

Back to throw. Deep ball, right side looking for Dunn. Incomplete. Josiah Dunn going down the right sidelines. Pretty good coverage by Connor Nicholson, the sophomore DB.

It'll be second and 10. Nicholson played that really well. He was stride for stride with the receiver at the last minute. He just ran up there, saw the football, got his head turned around, knew right where the receiver was and spike the ball out of play. That was.

You can't cover any better than that. Very nice job by that young man playing man to man coverage on the outside. Jaden Shoal is the other backup defensive lineman out there for East Valley. 2nd and 10 NC at their own 47. From the right hash Elliott to throw, being pressured out of the pocket, runs to the right, throws to the right.

Incomplete. Nobody there. Closest player was Nick Elliott, his brother who was about five yards away but close enough so there was no grounding. Plus he was out of the tackle box anyway and he was trying to avoid the sack. So he just threw that thing away.

Lived to play another day. Good maturation process by the quarterback there. Nobody open. Instead of throwing a pick, he threw it out of bounds. And now you got third and 10, three minutes to go here in the game.

I like North Central's getting some rhythm. They're feeling better about this. They're losing this game, but they're getting better for next week. Third down and 10 at their own 47. Elliott out of the pistol, takes the snap, fades back.

Pressure coming, wants to set up a screen. And again it's well done. Here's workman over the 45 to the 40, cuts back to his left 35, cuts up field 30, 25. Went back to the right foot race 15, 10 5. Touchdown Trey Workman.

Wow. 53 yards on that play. And Trey Workman over 100 receiving yards in the game. And North Central score on another beautiful play. And they make it a 4120 game with 246 remaining.

Boy, that was just a great individual. That was a screen as you mentioned. He caught the ball behind the line of scrimmage, got great blocking. North Central is a good screen team. They've done a nice job of getting their linemen downfield.

They were all engaged blocking guys. Workman broke a couple tackles, serpentine down the right sidelines, cut back against the grain and then just outran everybody from about the 20, 20 yard line in. Excellent effort by him. Tommy Elliott unofficially. 18 out of 31, 218 yards, one touchdown.

No interceptions in this ball game. There's the snap back Biiru Tang for the PAT. It is good and with 246 remaining, it's now a 4121 ballgame. And let's do the STCU touchdown drive recap. That was a 95 yard drive by Nick North Central and it was capped by the workman 53 yard screen pass from Tommy Elliott.

Point after good 41, 21 now is the score. So that was an impressive drive by North Central after turning it over three times or turning over twice and having a field goal blocked when they were first and goal inside the 10. Well, they weren't in the red zone that time. It was too long of a pass. But they score the touchdown and they also got an interception by Dunn to set that drive up on the five yard line.

Yeah, no, no diesel back there. So they could probably kick it away. Oh, he is back there on the about the 32. Yeah. A lot of the older, more experienced players are on here.

The hands team for East Valley as B routang. Pretty good onside kick last time but NC touched it early. Here he goes, gives another try. This little pooch kick and a fair catch is called for. Yep.

So they're going to be offside anyway and they'll have to re kick it. So the officials talking it over in college you could take that five yards from where you caught it. High school you have to re kick. Illegal procedure is the actual call so the ball be marked back to the 35 which is a disadvantage for East Valley because now North Central gets another shot at it. Yep.

So the punishment would have been keep the ball, move the five yards up field. That's probably a better play. They need to kind of balance those rules and change this thing up a little bit because that's really an advantage for the team. That was offsides. That was not a real onside kick so much.

It was just kind of a pooch kick. Trying to kick it over the top of the front men. But they've got the back receivers that are right behind two. So let's see how they do this one. And Tang runs forward and again pooches it over the head of the of the people and it's sliding and making a play just ahead of Campbell of North Central.

Pretty good job there by North Central or by East Valley as Jacob Brown is the guy that Got on it at 20 at the 40 yard line. So there's pooching it over the first two rows and hoping that their guy could beat the East Valley guy to the ball. And Campbell was right there, he was right there for North Central. So nice job by East Valley. Now you run the clock out to win the game 4121 and everybody goes home happy.

And game two comes up here shortly. It'll be Pullman and Shadow park that will not have radio coverage. It'll just be here at this stadium coming up about 30 minutes after the end of this game. So it's going to put it pretty close to an 8 o' clock kickoff here. And here is a run on first down and a nice little seam there and breaking through there.

Anthony Winnie, a junior running back and he takes it to the 49 yard line for a gain of nine. He got tackled by by Zegan, the big D tackle, 5 10, 200 pound kid came in and absolutely just kind of grabbed his ankles and wrapped him up and finally kind of, you know, knocked him over and the running back came in, he came right off the bench, got set and ran the ball. So he ran a lot on that last play from the sideline to the field, then upfield. So second down and a yard here. They're letting all the time go off the clock.

They can. There's 202 on the game clock, seven on the play clock. They snap it, hand it to win again, bounces into the middle, gets maybe the yard to gain for the first down. We'll see. It looks like the officials given to the 50.

That's a one yard gain. Pretty good job by the North Central defense. Nick Elliott though gets up limping and that would not be a good thing for NC as he goes down onto. If they wanted to use it, but I wouldn't think they would. Clock counting down. A minute 35 remaining. There's still 23 on the play clock. So they're going to let this thing go down for, for a ways before they snap the ball and we'll see what Adam Fisher elects to do.

I think he's going to looks like a knee down. Yeah, that's kind of the signal from the sidelines. Look like it's going to be a knee down. We'll see. Did you see Jonathan Smith at Oregon State got in trouble for because he wanted to help.

So he had to apologize for his signature side because it was. He was doing the little thingy. Here's a flag that comes in on a run by Win. He gets down to the 46 yard line. But I think we're going to get a hold here on East Valley.

That stops the clock too. That's. That's a buy. And the officials talking about it and talking about it and talking about it and talking about it some more. And they're talking about it some more.

Fields the quarterback, Taren Fields the sophomore. A 19 yard rushing touchdown that made it seven to nothing. North Carolina got the ball. They fumbled early in their possession, recovered by Stevens. Casey Stephens recovered the fumble.

And now our play of the game because it broke this game open in the first quarter of play and it is presented by Adams tractor. This touchdown gave in East Valley A14 nothing lead as they took advantage of the turnover. So on first down from the North Central 42, Fields hands it off to Nesbitt off the left side, gets inside the 35, 30 down the sidelines 25 20. He's got the angle. 15, 105 touchdown East Valley.

Nick Elliott was too far behind as he was coming in, didn't have a good angle on him and Nez Nesbitt was able to outrun the corner there. 42 yards of the rushing touchdown for Titan Nesbitt. And just like that it's 13 nothing. East Valley and East Valley taking advantage of that first crucial turnover on North Central. That really flipped this football game.

Well, that also set the tone for the game because North Central had three fumbles and a pick. They just had, they just had a block field goal. They had a lot of things. They had a kick return called back. I mean, mean just crucial mistakes and then you know, penalties and then and turnovers against a team like you know, like what we've seen in East Valley and East Valley.

You know they have some playmakers, Larry and those playmakers really showed up tonight. And so it was 14 nothing at that point. North Carolina drove down the field. But they had three drives that ended inside the 10 yard line. This one was a fumble.

It was a 12 play better than 5 minute drive for North Central. But Rodriguez recovers the fumble. Then Nick Elliott intercepted a pass for North Central. But again NC gets inside the 10. They try a field goal.

It was blocked. East Valley gets the ball back. A 13 play 88 yard drive took nearly seven minutes. Nesbitt a seven yard rushing touchdown, 21 nothing. North Carolina three and out and they had to punt.

East Valley took over at the NC 38 toward the end of the half. Fields 26 yards to Diesel Wilkinson, 28 nothing at the intermission. NC gets the ball to start the second half. They turn it over on a fumble. Nesbitt a three yard rushing touchdown as they take advantage of that 35 nothing.

Tommy Elliott a 23 yard run on a fourth and two situation capped a 64 yard drive for NC gets them their first score, 35 7. Then Wilkinson a 53 yard pass and run from Fields 7041 to seven at that point point and then two straight touchdowns. A workman 10 yard run and a workman 53 yard pass on a screen from Tommy Elliott. He had four tackles on defense. He recovered two fumbles with both setup touchdowns and stuffed North Central. And he was the guy that really led the team down the field in my opinion on those screenplays that they were so effective on. Let's give it to the guy in the trenches for a change. You know that that really stepped up and I thought it had an outstanding game playing both ways.
